Good but is it enough to work?
I am a little bummed about these. They are vegan and taste great. Like candy almost. A bit sweet but very tasty. The problem is that you will likely need to consume half the bottle to get one effective dose of elderberry. While there are no standardized "recommended dosage" guidelines, the Sambucol syrup we normally take contains 3.8 grams of elderberry per serving. These, by comparison, contain 270 milligrams per serving. The Sambucol has 14 times the elderberry in it. Again, there is no guidance here so maybe that is overkill but I know from experience that Sambucol is effective at shutting down a cold when I feel it coming on. I will say that many gummies on the market contain less than what New Nordic has put in here. So, for a daily immune system boost, maybe these are a good option. However, if you are looking for something to stave off a cold as it is starting, I might look elsewhere.
