I simply can't understand why something that's supposed to benefit my health would have something harmful to coat it.

I’m 59-years old with a bevy of abdominal/gastrointestinal problems/diseases. I have trouble absorbing nutrients, including iron. These are the only multivitamin with iron I can tolerate, and believe me, I’ve tried a few other brands that just don’t sit well. These do.<br /><br />Although I still occasionally need iron infusions and vitamin injections, these Centrum Adults vitamins have helped keep my lab work in the acceptable range most of the time, which pleases my doctor.<br /><br />I’m a lifelong customer… or at least until which time modern medicine catches up and can fix my incredibly complex issues.

I did what I always do when I buy a multivitamin. I put it on the counter, right next to the coffee maker to remind myself they exist. This strategy apparently does not work. They have now become decoration. I will have to try another strategy to remind myself to take them. They are the real product, I have bought this brand before, they are pretty standard for a multivitamin, read the list for what it is in them. The packaging was relatively easy to open, but the lid is slightly more difficult than other amazon products, most likely because it’s not marketed as easy to open. Other than that, I’d rate them pretty high. Amazon asked about taste, and these obviously do not taste good, and there is no extra coating to prevent you from tasting it. That’s pretty standard with a multivitamin, I personally wouldn’t choose that as a rating option, but they do also taste bad, but I have yet to meet a vitamin that tastes good.

Just bought this and had to throw them out! These vitamins made my heart race and made my girlfriend sick to her stomach after only two days of trying them. They are very difficult to digest and I suspect that something in the coating of the vitamin is making us sick. We are both very strong, active, middle-age adults with no pre-existing health problems whatsoever so whatever is in the vitamin coating or the vitamin itself is not good for you from our perspective. Hope this helps someone make an informed decision.

For a while i have been looking for a multi-vitamin that wasn't tailored to just one sex. This is the one! I have no complaints it does its job! Love this product.
