My ophthalmologist recommended that I take this brand of eye vitamins after my cataract surgery. He found some age related drusen which could possibly lead to macular degeneration. These vitamins are small and easy to swallow and you only need to take one every morning.

I was using a different more popular branded version of these before but really didn’t notice any difference, but since I started taking the Ocuvite brand I barely even have eye floaters anymore! Had them regularly with AREDS. I also take this to prevent macular degeneration as it runs in my family.

For the past 3 years I've been seeing a retina specialist every 4 months for fluid build up in my right eye. She wanted to do surgery and I asked what would happen if I didn't have surgery. She said it could heal on its own so I waited. The last appointment she said if its not better in 6 months we are going to have to think about surgery cause its gone too long. So my sister mentioned her doctor told her to use these vitamins. So I gave it a try. And I used them every day for 6 months went for my check up and my eye has healed. I never have to go back. I do have some damage that will take time to repair, or I will have scaring. So I will continue to take this vitamin it really works.

My optometrist says these have pretty much the same necessary ingredients as AREDS-2 and are cheaper.

A waste of money. 5mg of Lutein and 250mg of Omega-3. Save your money and buy 40mg Lutein along with 1500mg Omega-3 elsewhere for a lot better price!
