If you are looking for a supplement to help bowel movements, then this is the right magnesium for you, though its quality is mid-grade. It will work for that. There are MANY kinds of magnesium combinations and that is about all this particular one is good for. If you are looking to boost cognitive function, you must use magnesium threonate. For relaxation and blood flow? Magnesium glycinate. Need it for muscle issues? Use magnesium taurate. For nerve stimulation use magnesium glutamate & magnesium aspartate (Nervous system Stimulating because glutamate and asparte are excitotoxins). Avoid magnesium oxide - it is a waste of money due to its poor absorption rate ( average of only 4% ).

I have been using this supplement for a few years and have had no complaints up to now. But this last batch came in a different bottle with a label that looked like it came from a home printer. The capsules were coated with a white powder with a slightly soapy taste. They are going in the trash and I will switch to a different brand.

I'm sorry - this package is clearly mislabeled. It reads 500 mg - 100 caps. But what you actually get is 100 caps at 250 mg. The package just arrived today so we'll see how well it works but this false advertising really bothers me.

This product has changed my life. Before I had started taking the Magnesium Complex I had suffered from painful and debilitating knots in my calve muscles and muscles surrounding my knees. It was painful to walk. The magnesium slowly resolved all of the knots in my muscles. I take it once a day now and no longer suffer from the pain. Also remember our intestines are muscles too, and I feel this can help with a slow digestion system. LOVE this stuff!

Natures Way had always been a favorite brand of mine for their quality. It's a shame they've decided to go to this new rectangular bottle (foul smell). I had written Nature's Way about the new bottle smell. They responded by saying that they had transitioned to this new bottle with post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin and left it at that, nothing else. Very bad decision! Natures Way will need to use another kind of bottle WITHOUT the smell in order to gain back my loyalty to their brand.
