I have recently been trying new things and lots of supplements and diet changes to try and make myself healthier and get a higher quality life.<br /><br />One of my biggest issues is tummy trouble. I have a lot of gas, cramping and constipation. I tried cleanses but they quit working as soon as you stop taking them but if you take them too long you end up worse.<br /><br />I also tried not eating dairy, taking fiber, adding coconut flour, gluten free and just about everything else you can possibly imagine before someone told me I should try probiotics.<br /><br />When the bacteria in your intestines aren't leveled out you have a lot of issues like I was experiencing. I received the product at a discount for my honest review and after taking them for several weeks I have seen a bigger improvement with these probiotics than I got with prescription laxitive.<br /><br />I assume I had way too much bad bacteria since I had such bad gas. After trying the probiotics I have less than half the gas I did before and instead of going to the bathroom every 4th day I'm now at every other day.<br /><br />Not being so literally full of poop I fit better into my pants, have less cramping and less laughing from my kids (gas is soooo funny). I would definitely recommend probiotics to everyone.

I've been taking probiotics for several years now and definitely will continue. I like to try new probiotic brands to introduce different bacteria strains and amounts to my system. The benefits of probiotics to my digestive system and overall health have been good. These Island's Miracle Probiotics for Women are the real thing, they passed the milk test. I opened two capsules into about 1/2 cup of milk and they produced a yogurty substance in less than two days. They work as well as others I have tried. They include the probiotic strains:  L. acidophilus, L. fermentum, L. rhamnosus, L. salivarius, L. paracasei, L. gasseri, L. reuteri, L. plantarum, plus 10 more. 18 strains in all. An organic digestive enzyme blend is added to break down layers of yeast cells. There is also an herbal blend of cranberry extract, goldenrod and bearberry leaf to promote urinary tract and vaginal health. Island's Miracle probiotics are made in the USA, and are gluten and dairy-free. They also contain no eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat, rice, soy or artificial ingredients. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and fair review.

I was hesitant to try out this product because I have not heard of the company before, and the supplement industry can be sketchy. I always exercise caution when trying a new supplement company. I used to work as a quality analyst in the supplement industry, and am very familiar with probiotic blends. I cannot comment on the efficacy of taking probiotics as there is much debate over whether or not you actually receive any benefits, but I can say that I have not experienced any negative side effects from taking this product for just over 3 weeks now. I will examine the product in terms of its claims:<br /><br />1. &#34;Designed specifically for women&#34; - this claim is almost entirely unnecessary. Anyone can take this probiotic and receive the same benefits. There is little research showing that vaginal health is impacted by taking an oral probiotic. At best I would say this is useful for improving digestion and possibly improving gut flora composition, but not much beyond that.<br /><br />2. &#34;30 Billion CFUs per serving&#34; - I would not put much behind this claim without sufficient lab testing data. Probiotic counts can vary wildly depending on a lot of factors, such as age, shelf life, source, humidity, temperature, storage conditions, etc.<br /><br />3. &#34;18 Strains of Good Guy Bacteria&#34; - The label lists the following strains: L. acidophilus, L. rhamnosus, L. fermentum, B. bifidum, B. longum, B. infantis, L. gasseri, B. coagulans, B. lactis, L. reuteri, L. casei, L. paracasei, L. bulgaricus, L. pantarum, L. salivarius, L. thermophilus, B. breve, and L. helveticus. This comes out to 18 strains but without the composition there is no way to know which strains you're really benefiting from and which were added as filler. Typically you can get a lot of the useful strains from eating good-quality yogurt, though some yogurts only contain 2 or 3 strains and up to as much as 8 or 9 strains. Do you need all 18 of these strains? Probably not.<br /><br />4. &#34;Boosts the Immune System&#34; - I would not put much weight into this claim as it is supported by debatable research at best.<br /><br />5. &#34;Promotes Digestive, Urinary, and Vaginal Health&#34; - Again, supported by debatable research. I cannot say I have experienced an improvement in any of these areas since starting the supplement.<br /><br />Overall, my personal opinion is that taking probiotics is a waste of time. If it makes you feel better, go for it, but I prefer to start my morning with some high-quality greek yogurt and call it good. I will finish out this bottle of probiotics but will not reorder.

Excellent Probiotic!

This probiotic bottle has 30 capsules and each contains 100 billion probiotics and various digestive enzymes. I think it will be specially beneficial for people that can’t produce enough digestive enzymes to break down food or those who face a constant challenge to keep their gut biome healthy. I don’t have neither of these issues. Nonetheless I take it to stay healthy. I like that the daily dosage is only 1 capsule that is easy to swallow. It doesn’t have any funny taste or smell. I can appreciate that it has the delay-release capsules to reach all the way down to the small and large intestines.

These are easy to swallow. I take probiotics daily. I know they are good for your gut and help with bloating. These seem to work as well as any I have used in the past.
