I bought the Animal PM to aid in recovery and sleep. HOLY COW, I thought I was having a heart attack. About 30 minutes after taking the pack (small meal) of pills I started having a hard time breathing and my heart started racing. I couldn’t catch my breath and I was mildly hyper ventilating. I took the pills a few times before I realized it was the pills causing this. The same side effects continued and would even wake me up from a dead sleep. So, not a good sleep aid.<br /><br />I called Animal and spoke to a representative, who was not surprised and advised the pills were safe and those side effects can happen. I’m 50 and thought maybe it’s old man stuff, so I gave them to my 19 year old son. He spends hours in the gym each day. After taking them one night e told me to toss them out because he had the same side effects I had. He kinda laughed and said it was “terrible and scary”.<br /><br />I emailed Animal and corresponded with a Representative with the initials A.R. We corresponded 14 times with her asking questions and me answering them often times repeatedly. Her final response after weeks of correspondence was that due to their “Policy” they could not issue a refund.

I took these pills and I did not turn into an Animal. I was thinking since these are PM pills, I could spend my nights living out my lifelong dream of being an animal. I was hoping for something awesome like a shark or possibly a puma, but alas, I am still human. I am going to wait out the 30 days and see if I anything happens after the entire case is consumed, but I'm not feeling very hopeful on this outcome.

Bought this product hoping it would increase my deep sleep, doesn’t really do so. My Fitbit tracks my sleep, and there is no difference in my deep sleep when on or off this product. It makes me feel very groggy upon waking as well, have missed workouts due to this, which makes me really upset. Product really does make you sleep though, every time I take, I sleep about 10-12 hours so I can only take it on nights where I have nothing to do the next day. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is not meant to put you to sleep, but rather make the most of whatever sleep you get. As a person who only gets about 6 hours of sleep on avg, this has made a noticeable difference for me in my recovery. Good product! Well worth it!

A great supplement to assist in recovery and sleep! After trying and feeling the results of the Universal Animal Pak I decided to take it up a notch with this Pak. As many people already know sleep is a vital part of muscle gaining and overall health. Who would have thought the one thing that requires you to do nothing, does so much for you. The Pak is filled with 10 pills which give you essential vitamins needed for recovery throughout the night. The first part of the Pak is the relaxation part which helps you get to sleep. I really couldn't tell you if this part of the Pak works because I typically already crash once I hit the bed sheets. The Pak then begins to assist with many functions your body takes in recovering your muscles. A big part in muscle gains is growth hormones (GH). Your body releases its biggest growth hormone concentration during rest time/sleep and animal Pak delivers five key amino acids aiding GH. The immune system is another important factor in muscle growth because when working out you create "microtears" in your muscles and the immune system at night begins repairing these. Animal Pak PM also assist with the immune system, in fact a large part of the Pak deals with just that. I feel the Pak has worked very well for me sleep wise as it gives me deeper sleep and more REM sleep which is key to growth. upon waking I realize how vivid my dreams were which is directly related to REM sleep which is a sure sign it works. I hope this review helps you decide on this product, It is very underrated and deserves the respect it deserves! Will definitely purchase again!

My gym sessions tend to run late and I cant seem to wind down. I am not a bodybuilder but train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and as much as I love it - I ended up having the worst time falling asleep and staying asleep. While this is no wonder sleep aid the pak combination has done wonders for me. My diet is REALLY cleaned up - so along with that - I have been sleeping great, am better recovered and quite possibly have had more energy than ever. I take it every night without fail. So if you think this product is for you, and your diet and nutrition is on point. GET IT. Pricing options are better on other websites however. Help us out Amazon!
