I appreciated the fact that the seller emailed me and wanted to make sure I got it and it wasn't broken and that I was satisfied. Very personable... thank you so much... will Def. Order again

A very large dose of B12

I take a number of oral vitamin tablets, and sometimes they seem to bother my stomach. So I have been trying different liquid vitamin supplements. The B12 tablet that I have used in the past contains 1000 mcg (micrograms) of B12, which the bottle tells me is 41,667% of the recommended daily value. When taken in the recommended amount, this liquid B12 has 5000 mcg of B12. According to the package, that is 208,333% of the daily value of B12 (5 times the amount in my oral B12 tablet). Wow, that’s a large dose. Do I really need that much B12? I suppose one could consider taking less than the recommended 1 ml (15 drop) dose. In any event, here are the pros of this product. (1) I found it basically tasteless. That’s good, because some of the liquid vitamins or herbals have an unpleasant taste. (2) There’s an expiration date printed on the bottle. That’s also a good thing. Many of the supplements I have gotten via Amazon do not have an expiration date on the bottle, but I feel a reputable manufacturer should provide that information. On the negative side (1) there are no milliliter markings on the dropper. Yes, I can count drops, and perhaps I don’t need to take the full dose because this is so high in B12, but I prefer a dropper with markings so that I can draw up the desired dose. And (2) the bottle says that it contains over 77 trace minerals. OK guys, what else is in here? It doesn’t tell me. I prefer my supplements to be “pure.” In other words, if I want a B12 vitamin supplement, I’d prefer not to have a ton of other stuff getting in along with it.

Tasty orange flavor.

My stomach does not fully digest solid vitamins so I gave this a try. I am pleased to say that it works and has a tasty orange flavor!

Taste is bad

Tastes terrible and the taste stays in your mouth for hours which made my stomach uneasy. Probably best to mix it in a fruit smoothie or something. Can’t comment on the effectiveness cause it’s sitting in my cupboard cause I can’t return it.

A Simple Supplement Solution

This vitamin B12 liquid supplement is significantly easier to administer than having to down another pill, which is a major plus for me. The dosage seems a bit ridiculous, so I eyeball the amount (conservatively) to just a few cm above the tip. This is likely about half (if not less) than the recommended 15 drops, but considering how much daily percentage that is, I don't think it makes any sense to take more than that. It absorbs quite quickly and has such a subtle taste as to say it is pretty much tasteless. There's a very slight sensation under my tongue when being absorbed, but it goes away within about 5 seconds.<br />As for more energy, I don't feel quite at lethargic in the afternoon and my wife says it has helped with her workout energy. Considering the dosage, it can take a bit of time to notice the effects on the body, so don't expect immediate results.

Supplement in a liquid form

I like elixir formulations because the medication absorbs quicker and more efficiently. A dose is 1ml which is about 15 drops which you hold under your tongue for about 30 seconds before swallowing. The taste is "interesting", not horrible, just not really pleasant either! I think the effect on my energy is average and seems equivalent to my old brand. This bottle lasts 60 days and the price is about average.
