Try the Salted Caramel. Avoid Vanilla Like the Plague

Verified

I want to stress that I want to support my hometown’s vegan business. The salted caramel flavor was REALLY good. If I can deter even one person from buying the vanilla flavor though, I have done my good deed for the day. I am a wine salesman, so I’ve got a pretty darn good palate. I simply can’t fathom how this got the green light for production. It shouldn’t even be called “vanilla.” I don’t know what they were going for, but that ain’t it. The fact that they pulled off the salted caramel flavor so well and a blunt flavor like vanilla so poorly is puzzling, I’ll continue to try other flavors like I did with Soylent. It’s definitely a dicey proposition because I order a case at a time. I’m staring at the vanilla one now asking myself how I’m going to power through it. It’s going to be a brutal undertaking.

Best plant protein drink ever!

Verified

I have tried literally every plant-based protein drink or shake on the market and none of them compare to Ripple. Ripple Chocolate is the closest-tasting product to a high-quality whey protein drink that I've found. I was drinking Evolve but this is much better and higher in calories. you would never guess that it's a pea protein shake. I drink one in the morning when I wake up and it helps to settle my plumbing, so to speak. I've been suffering from IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and this shake definitely helps quiet things down besides being nutritious and easily digested.

Drink this and it will definitely change your opinion about pea protein drinks. It did for me.

Chocolate: Yes, Vanilla: a resounding NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Verified

To begin with, the amount of carbohydrate in these shakes is pretty low. But the chocolate flavor has cocoa to improve the flavor, and when well shaken, it has become a long term solution for me. You should know I paid 31.99 for my case of 12, and Target sells 4 for 9.99. So be aware the current price from this source has risen over 40 bucks over the past month. In any case, I tried the vanilla, and I don't know if there's any actual vanilla in this shake, but it doesn't matter because it tastes terrible. It's going to be palatable only if mixed with some strong flavorings, I don't know what. Maybe frozen fruit in a blender. In any case, if you haven't bought vanilla yet, I strongly recommend staying away from it. I'll be returning mine to target.

AWFUL

Verified

I normally buy Ripple protein shakes at Target but this was a better deal. I bought the coffee flavor and I've tried this flavor before, loved the taste and the caffeine. But when I drank one of these coffee shakes I was instantly put off but the smell (cat food), the viscosity (thicker than usual), and the taste (just nasty af). What a waste of $30! I assumed I would be getting the same product that I got at Target. Nope. Instead, I got strange tongue tingling and dizziness that lasted for several hours. I don't know if I got a bad batch or one that was sitting out in the heat too long or what. Maybe it's a knock-off product? Either way, no one should have to deal with a "health" product that negatively affects them. DO NOT RECOMMEND ordering the coffee flavor on Amazon.

Sisters in Law spread the word

All three married grown children brought their young families to our house for a long week end. A daughter asked for Ripple Vegan Protein Shakes. We'd never heard of them so it was Amazon"d in to make her happy. What a hit with her three sisters in law! Our smoothie loving vegans from Ohio, Virginia, and Florida are now enjoying healthy, great tasting Ripple Vegan Protein Shakes as new customers. Better health from a better product.

I LOVE Ripple! I like protein shakes in the morning to take with my meds, this is perfect! So I figured I’d give the protein shake a try. Product was delivered on June 2nd with a best by date of May 25th, 2020. Not cool! No option to contact seller about this problem!
