Having worked many years in the supplement industry, I can tell you that this is one of the best if not the best Vitamin C supplement I've taken. I always notice great results from this particular Vitamin C formula, usually just within one day of taking it. I take two capsules in the morning and two in the evening.<br />When a Vitamin C formula is offering you 730 MG's of bioflavonoids to every 1000 MG's of Vitamin C, then you know you have a serious supplement on your hands. Nutraceutical (Solaray) obviously did their research when they put this formula together.<br />I could write pages about all of the benefits of getting a high dosage (such as you do with this formula) of bioflavonoids with your Vitamin C, but I leave that to the individual to research on their own.<br />Suffice to say that having personally run vitamin stores in the past, and studied the field extensively, I definitely recommend this formula to other and go even further to suggest that if there are just a handful of supplements that you should take for the rest of your life, Super Bio C, Buffered, Two Stage Time released, is definitely one of them.

Advertised 360 1000 mg capsules of buffered (Vitamin) C. What I actually received was 360 capsules of 500 mg ea, which is 50% less than promised. I take a lot of supplements, including ONE 1000 mg cap of Vitamin C daily. I don't want/need to take TWO capsules to fill that requirement. I have reported the issue, but am discouraged to see that nothing has been done to change the description, which qualifies as a Bait and Switch scenario.

This product is around $34 in Wholefoods. This is the best Vitamin C out there. Been buying this for years. It's rare to find 1,000 mg/capsule at this price. I take 4,000 mg and up to 8,000 everyday for ten years now. In 2004 as my mother was sick & dying, I was in very much in stress. One morning I woke up heavy fever, bad sore throat, and coughing heavily. I'm a vitamin junkie in nature and can pop in 10 or more pills in my mouth no problem, I wasn't myself this morning because I was so sick. I was transferring 15 Vitamin pills (500 mg/ea) to another bottle but I was interrupted and popped in my mouth all 15 Vit C pills by mistake. I screamed & said &#34;Oh My God! I just swallowed 8,000mg of Vit C!!!&#34; By lunch time my fever, sore throat, cough all DISAPPEARED! Since then, I've been taking 4,000mg or more everyday and have NEVER ever got a cold or sick again. It's been 10 LONG years! There are a lot of things pharmeceutical company don't tell you and Vitamin C have lots of testimonials people getting healed. The worst that can happen when you take too many is diarrhea. If I get stomach cramps which I don't since I am use to taking this, I just drink 2-3 TBSP of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with water and its gone in 5 minutes. My husband no longer get sick (he used to get sick all the time) and I tell all my friends and family about Vitamin C.

I have been using this product for over 5 years now and It is a great product. I agree with the reviewer above in that it does not upset your stomach. I mega dose on vitamin c whenever I start to feel a cold coming on....It keeps my body in a alkaline state and wipes my cold out before it even begins. I recommend this product. SOLARAY thank you!!! I started using this product about 2 weeks ago. I had some vitamin c left from a previous order.<br />This timed release formula is making me ill. I have gotten reflux with it. Never had it with this brand that was not timed released. I WANT A REFUND OR EXCHANGE SINCE I HAVE JUST STARTED USING IT.<br />I have used approximately 10 capsules. 1 a day - not 2, as indicated. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT GENTLE ON THE STOMACH. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.<br /><br />Update: On November 14, 2019, I received an e-mail informing me that the total refund of the one item would be $23.75, which actually shows a reduction of $4....... of the original price.<br />On November 21, 2019, I received an e-mail, informing me that my refund would be $22.78. It's timed-released, it's buffered with bioflavonoids, and it has 1000 mg. I have taken this vitamin C for years. My only complaint is the recent purchase bottle. These are vegetable capsules and this particular batch has a strong odor to the capsules. I called the company and complained. They indicated that this type of capsule being a vegetable product can from time to time have a slight odor. It has no effect on how well the product works. Okay, but I still don't like the odor.
