Thorough and brutally honest review
I was taught in one of the top nursing schools in the country that if there was just one supplement a person was to take, it should be calcium because every cell in your body uses it. And you can't absorb calcium without magnesium. Whenever you contract a muscle, you use calcium, and when you relax a muscle, you use magnesium.

Fast forward... I had a pretty bad muscle pain in my back and the muscles were full of knots after waking up one morning. I decided to go to a professional masseuse who told me "Wow, this is really bad! You should be supplementing calcium and magnesium in a powder/liquid form. Your body is important!" I knew they were right.

So what kind? Most of the tablets contain magnesium stearate and/or stearic acid. The compound is used to make manufacturing cheaper by lubricating the machinery so it will run faster and smoother, and prevents the pills or capsules from sticking to each other. It's also linked to DNA damage in animal studies in extremely low doses. Plus, it is commonly sourced from hydrogenated oils such as cottonseed oil which is almost always genetically engineered and has high levels of pesticide. Not what you want to put in your body.

Then I found some government studies from .gov websites where they had done research and found you only absorb about 10-20% of regular vitamins in pill form, but you absorb more than 90% in liquid form. BIG DIFFERENCE. There is plenty of material on this.

So I did my research and found this brand met all my requirements and had the best price.

PROS:
* I slept much better and it relaxed my muscles so much that my back, legs, and feet felt amazing and tingled. I've had leg circulation issues all my life, and I can move my toes more than I have in 10 years. Just amazing! I am surprised.
* It absorbs into your body quickly
* You absorb way, way more than tablets
* No magnesium stearate and/or stearic acid which is NOT a good form of magnesium to take and is linked to cancer. What is shocking is that MOST vitamin tablets contain this. Not what you would expect from vitamins, right?
* No genetically engineered ingredients
* Has the right amounts of calcium and magnesium in combination so your body can use it
* Magnesium is required in hundreds of biochemical reactions and needed by every cell in your body, helps create and repair DNA and RNA, helps aid against type 2 diabetes, can help lower blood pressure, and can even help with depression.
* Vitamin D helps support the health of the immune system, brain, nervous system, regulate insulin levels, and aids with diabetes management.
* It has helped with my teeth! Teeth naturally re-mineralize and can even sometimes heal from small cavities if you take care of them and have plenty of calcium and vitamin D3.
* The company does 3rd party testing - I am fairly certain for detection of heavy metals (like lead) which can be a problem with supplements that come from China because of the heavy pollution there.

CONS:
* You have to boil water. I couldn't get it to dissolve to clear unless the water was boiling. The hot water from the water dispenser wasn't hot enough. I just take the hot water and put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds before stirring it in (don't put the calcium/magnesium in the microwave!! - Just the water). When I do this, it turns clear and works much better.
* It can give you diarrhea at first if you take too much. The first night I took it, I had to get up in the middle of the night.
* It doesn't have a lot of taste, but it's not what I would call "delicious". I guess thinking this would taste as good as cola is like thinking that working out feels good. Still, it's okay. It's not that bad.
* The largest size only has 40 servings so if you take it in the morning and evening, it doesn't even last a month (though most will probably take it at night). I wish there was a bigger size!
* I didn't find any kind of measuring spoon in the bottle.

Look, if you are going to take this, use discipline and stick with it.

TIP:
Another thing I did with great success was add a liquid multi-vitamin I found (after a lot of research) called "Natural Vitality Organic Life Vitamins Liquid" (search on Amazon for it) that comes in a green bottle and doesn't contain sodium benzoate (a really bad preservative found in almost all the liquid vitamins), artificial ingredients, genetically modified ingredients, or pesticides. I just pour it in and drink it at the same time. Works better together, and I highly recommend trying it.

Lastly, I am not connected to any vitamin company, never received any type of payment or product for this review, and I'm just a regular person passing on the information. I hope this helps.
