I have loved premier protein for some time now- I use one of their shakes every day in my coffee and they are great to help satisfy my sugar cravings late at night when I need something but a candy bar isn't the best option. I was really happy to see that they have come out with a plant based powder as I have been trying to cut back on a lot of animal based products where I can in an attempt to get healthy again and this certainly hits the mark. You aren't missing anything when you get this instead of the regular protein powder- it is still just as creamy and blends just as nicely. Plus, who can resist the taste! It tastes just like their vanilla flavor (possibly one of the best vanilla protein shakes out there on the market that isn't insanely expensive). I am in love and can't wait to see if they bring this out in their premade line soon!

I bought thinking the vegan option would be better for me but no matter how you mix it, it is very chalky. The taste is not great either

We love this new plant based protein. Great for shakes and making protien cookie dough. Two thumbs up!

This is my favorite brand.

I like the regular drink this does not taste good. It does not have a smooth creamy taste. I will buy the drink itself.

Disclaimer: It's going to seem like I'm slamming this product in this review, so why am I giving it four stars? Because (in my experience/opinion) pretty much all vanilla protein powders taste terrible, and pretty much all plant based protein powders have a weird texture, so for the category this one's pretty good.<br /><br />I would probably not drink this on its own unless I really had to. The texture is pretty chalky and the taste is sickly sweet with a bit of a weird aftertaste.<br /><br />However, it's a great mix-in for smoothies. I've been mixing this with a cup of frozen strawberries, half a cup of cottage cheese, and about a cup of oat milk, and it's like a strawberry cheesecake in a glass. The weird aftertaste isn't strong enough to overpower the strawberries (which I can't say for other vanilla protein shakes I've tried!) and when blended the texture is no longer noticeable.<br /><br />Overall: definitely better than other vanilla plant based protein shakes I've tried, and better than some vanilla whey protein shakes I've tried.
