Electrolytes without all the sugar!!

I have been searching and searching for an electrolyte additive/drink that did not have a ton of extra sugar in it. My mother in law ended up purchasing one of the more well-known brands for me and I always have a really hard time taking the whole packet down. I end up adding about 1/3 of it to my 16 oz of water before it's too sweet, which makes me question the metric on the back that says 1 packet makes 1 bottle of water count for 2... Am I really getting any benefits from adding only 1/3 of the packet? I feel like this is a much better solution. Instead of having 11 grams of added sugar per packet, these only have 3. This means it doesn't taste like much, but honestly that's a bit of a relief given the flavor name "salty orange" had me a little worried! It's more of an essence than a flavor. I definitely feel like my water counts for more when I use these, which is important because I'm a breastfeeding mom and I have trouble remembering to drink enough water before and after feeds. The packets themselves are pretty small/light, so I think these could be great to take on hikes or to the gym too. I can imagine that they would also work well for hangovers as an alternative to Pedialyte.

Beats Any Sports Drink

Sometimes drinking water isn't enough when I'm working out or not eating right. I feel lousy and have headaches. This electrolyte mix is exactly what I needed. It gets me feeling better in a jiffy. I love that it has a healthy dose of potassium. The flavor is subtle. I actually taste the electrolytes more than the flavoring. It's kind of like a sports drink without the sugar and flavoring. It's definitely palatable in plain water, but could also easily be mixed in any beverage without altering the taste very much.

Tastes like pure electrolytes

I gave 4 stars because it is exactly what it says it is. Packets of electrolytes with no additional flavor. I personally cannot drink it, which is why I took off a star, but it tastes salty and strangely plain? If your looking for additional electrolytes with no flavor, additives or sugar this product is for you. Fortunately my husband doesn't mind the taste so it will not go to waste. Maybe if you mix it with another "flavor packet" it would be fine.

Odd flavor but seems to work

I recently gave this to my son (age 24) who was really under the weather and hadn't been drinking enough water in my opinion to help his body get feeling better. I mixed up a pack and before handing it to him, I took a taste. It looked and tasted a bit like really weak almond milk or regular milk, but was not unpleasant or sweet. It did the trick and my guy was feeling much better before the end of the night.

Works great for a hangover.

I like this product. If you have a hangover it quickly takes care of it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that it didn't taste the greatest to me. But for an easy way to rehydrate yourself, this is the way to go.

Very Awkard taste.

If you only put the electrolyte pack in your water, then it is super disgusting. You will definitely need add flavoring. Enough flavor to overpower the taste of the electrolyte pack. Did I feel a difference? Yes, but you have to get over the taste. Maybe I shouldn't have chosen salted orange.
