Texture

I’ve only tried the dark chocolate sea salt bar so far and the taste was not that good to me but the ingredients were. The texture was kind of strange. Like a smooth, soft rubber lol. I’m sure the almond and peanut butter ones will be okay taste wise.

Strange flavor

I really wanted to love these but upon tasting them I was definitely disappointed and could not finish the box. The flavors are very simple so I expected the bars to taste just as the names implied - coconut almond, dark chocolate with sea salt, and peanut butter chocolate. First bar I tried was the coconut almond....not only could I not taste the coconut, the almond flavor was imparted primarily by almond flavoring, not the actual almonds, so it was overpowering and fake tasting. Like an almond cookie where WAY too much almond extract was used. Next was the peanut butter chocolate bar....same thing, I could not taste discernable peanut butter OR chocolate, but was left with an aftertaste similar to artificial sweeteners or stevia which was strange because neither is part of the ingredient list. Dark chocolate and sea salt was the least worst flavor, but still did not taste like dark chocolate....more like an artificially sweetened cocoa paste with some salt thrown in (yes the salt was discernable). While I can appreciate what this product is trying to do, I feel like maybe it is over-thought and that if the flavors were more true to their ingredients it would be a home run. The biggest turn off for me was whatever calorie-free sweetener they used.....from the ingredients I can only assume this is either the ashwagandha or the monk fruit, but whatever it is, it left a fake sweet aftertaste that lingered for so long it actually made me nauseous. The last one I ate was over an hour ago and my stomach still feels queasy. Maybe some people can get past the flavor, but with so many more affordable and tasty options on the market, I'll be unlikely to buy these again.

All but one flavor is gross

These keto bars are gross and leave a chalky taste in your mouth the only flavor I was able to eat the whole bar was the dark chocolate sea salt they are packaged well and maybe others can handle the chalky taste me I personally can't if it was not for the texture they would be extremely good but the texture absolutely ruins it for me

As a texture person, this was a game changer.

I received this item for free as a promotion.

I hateeeeee weird textures. I immediately tried these because of their keto, everything free label. I wasn’t sure if I would be ok with the texture but it was better than the typical store shelf bars.
I will definitely buy these more because of all of the goodness in them.

It's a power bar...

I ordered a box of these in hopes that my child would eat them. She's a very picky eater and often skips lunch at school. However, she did not like the texture of them (as I said, she's very picky). My husband and I thought they were fine. They hold together and don't crumble all over you, so that's nice. The flavors are normal... nothing off-putting. The texture is also pretty standard to a normal protein bar. I think they are a bit pricey (almost $3 per bar). But I guess if you're using these as a meal replacement, they are a good value. I also like that they are vegan.
