Product change

Be aware that the product has changed. I called Bulk Supplements and they NO LONGER use the oyster meat in the product but just the SHELL which makes it useless!!!! No refunds. BEWARE!!

Did they change the product

I've purchased this product three times. The first two times were great. The third time it came and was a completely different color and consistency. First two times it was a clay color and had a slight salty taste. The most recent time it was a fluffy while powder that looked more like a creatine powder. I reached out to bulk supplements directly with pictures to see if the the product had accidently been mislabeled but they never responded.

This is NOT Oyster meat!

I have purchased this same product before, and it used to be a clay-like color with a strong smell and taste (like seafood). Now it is a powdery pure white substance with no smell or flavor. This is clearly ground shell--completely nutritionally worthless. It doesn't contain zinc, as advertised, and is NOT whole oyster, as stated on the packaging, and is basically just calcium carbonate--the same thing I feed my chickens for $15 per 50 lb bag. Very upset about this. $18 for 8 oz of a lie.

So far so good!

Always loved oysters and ahem....”the effects” ...not always easy to find. Decided to try this powder....Ive been throwing a teaspoon or 2 in my morning shake. And its seems to be improving my stamina...I do a lot of different supplements...and stopped sugar recently so I can’t tell exactly what part the oyster powder is playing...<br />But I’m pretty sure its helping......gonna order more and use bigger dose and see what happens!!

better than a supplement

We use this product for the food supplement value attributed to oyster consumption (see Dr. William Li's book, "Eat to Beat Disease"). The flavor is subtle and works very well with eggs and when sprinkled on salads. It also blends well with olive oil for pasta sauces.

Product is not what it was

Left white powder is current product. Right brown powder is what I bought a year ago. Same company, same label, same everything. Worthless ground up white shell of oyster is what it is now. Bulk supplements please do better or you will lose loyal customers. Up to you.
