You'll have a difficult time finding a better buy on this vitamin product. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Although magneisum citrate is used for muscle relaxation, it is often mostly given for an alternative to laxatives…which surprises me that his isn’t mentioned with the product at all. So, with regulation this is good for muscle relaxation but if you take higher amounts you can give yourself loose stools and nausea accompanied with vomiting

I find Magnesium Citrate to work well for me. It’s important for proper absorption of vitamin D, and it also seems to help reduce the frequency of headaches I sometimes get (good for the nerves). As far as quality, this looks identical to other 400mg magnesium citrate supplements I’ve used, seems to be working well, and comes in a nice large container.

My husband routinely takes magnesium before bed to help calm his muscles for deeper sleep. He had been taking a 240mg tablet when I came across these 400mg serving. Neither he nor I noticed for a bit that the serving size is actually two tablets. So he had been getting just 200mg for the last couple weeks. He had not noticed any difference between his usual brand and this brand with the 40 fewer mg serving. After we realized our mistake, we realized it was nice to have a choice. He can take both pills if he feels like he needs both, or just one if he wants. He may yet notice a difference with taking 400mg consistently; if so I'll report back. But as it is, we're very satisfied that these are a good brand and good choice of dosage.

This is a good magnesium for short term use for supporting magnesium level and constipation, but should be cautious that it's not for long tern use because some may become dependent on it. The 400 mg serving is two tablets so it easy to take less if desired. The RDA being 400-420 mg for adult men and 300 - 320 mg daily for women. This may well be the best value I've come across for magnesium citrate to provide a 400 mg daily dose for four months = currently $10.00. The product in the bottle has an odd light chemical smell but the tablets have a pharmaceutical glaze so there's no taste. I didn't find any tablets broken, NOR powder in the bottom of the bottle in what I received. In fact they're hard to break into. They come in a dark brown plastic bottle with a child proof lid (but it's not hard to use) - Expiration dater = Nov 2025. My one complaint is the size. This is a HARD tablet that's as long as a Nickle, but also sorta fat which may be hard for some to swallow.
