I train for powerlifting, have been using protein supplements most of my life. I developed a complete intolerance for dairy so many products are no longer usable. This doesn’t bother me at all and it tastes great! Highly recommended for people with dairy issues.

I really like this company but was sad to see it didn't have nay vegan options. Until it did. I purchased it instantly and came on time.<br />I have tried a lot of different plant Based proteins before and this is definitely in my top 3. The texture is good, not as corse as some others where it's like drinking dusty water.<br />It mixes very well with a good shake of the bottle and doesn't clump.<br />The taste is great. I got the chocolate and the best way to describe it would be chocolate cake batter. It grows on you super fast.<br /><br />Now it would be a real review without some cons, which there are very few of.<br />1. The suggested serving. It says you could get away with 4 Oz of your liquid of choice with the a scoop. This is wrong lol. At that little it turns into a thick slury and makes you gag. Fill it with 8oz of almond/soy milk or water.<br />2. The container is half full right off the bat. Kind of annoying and I don't see the point of this, but if I get the amount servings I payed for then it's fine I suppose.<br /><br />And that's it really. I like it a ton. Will buy more in the future.

I'll start by saying up until this point- I have been a huge fan of PEScience plant protein line. I still am BUT this one ranks higher. Zero chalk texture, its creamy when mixed. I will say, flavor gets only 4 stars because while it tastes good- it does not taste like peanut butter to me, it actually tastes like the tub was filled with the vanilla powder by mistake. I am going to buy another flavor and see what I come up with. Overall, great plant based option for those who don't like whey.

I used 4 scoops of vegan protein with just ice and water that I make after my morning workout and I have to say this is the absolute smoothest vegan protein I have ever drank. It has virtually ZERO chalkiness and goes down with a nice chocolate cake batter taste. I was truly amazed by how good this was. Creamy and delicious. I will be subscribing to auto delivery for this.

This product nearly does everything right that you want in powder. The protein industry has massive flop after flop on plant products. This one finally has a place in the market as a viable contender to compete against the animal/whey-based products.<br /><br />NOTE: My experience is purely with a shaker bottle; I want a protein shake in two minutes, and this achieves that goal. I have not used a blender--I think it's a waste of time, personally.<br /><br />The ONLY part of this product I would focus on is the taste. I think it could be reformulated with the existing ingredients and be a bit better. I will stay on this powder line until... this might be the one I buy until it doesn't exist anymore.<br /><br />Review details:<br /><br />- VERY cost-efficient among competition, plant powders really can have questionable market/product features<br />--- amazon sells it for $27.99 @ 30 servings of 20g<br />--- super comparable to animal-based protein powder products<br />--- supports a small business, not sure how it really ties in with this website, but thrown it b/c Amazon says so<br />--- powder has lasted from May to August this year, has not changed in quality. Good sign.<br /><br />- no clumping<br />--- mixes easy with liquid of choice, I choose soy milk a lot<br />--- no mess in shaker bottle<br />--- easiest one I've gotten to wash out<br /><br />- fine on digestion<br />--- passes through completely fine<br />--- no weird bloating, gas, etc.<br />--- no after-weirdness later in the day sneaking up on me<br /><br />- No evidence of things that SHOULD NOT be involved in the process<br />--- no weird smoke coming out of the container like some powders<br />--- I don't see questionable ingredients, and the list is short enough, which is better IMO because we constantly get bombarded with laundry lists on these products<br /><br />- texture:<br />--- smooth, no chalkiness, no clumping, no failures to mix yet<br /><br />- taste:<br />--- passable, not vile or vomit-worthy, tastes super artificial and not the best strawberry I've ever had, but I will accept it with the other features of the powder

I like to have a variety of flavors that aren't chocolate and vanilla so I was trying to locate a strawberry powder and this was it.<br /><br />Mixes well with just a blender bottle and, for a pea protein, it's relatively palatable with minor grit. I mean if you've had pea protein you understand that no matter what artificial flavor they overlay on top of it, it just tastes like drinking ground up beans with the texture of mud and this is about average in that category.<br /><br />Personally I get far better satiation effect from pea protein than from whey which is why I use it. I use this as either a breakfast replacement or an evening snack to hold me until morning and this fills me up and lasts and lasts. 5/5 stars on fullness. I know the package says "not to be used for weight reduction" but they have to put that because some fool will go extreme and try to use this as their sole nutrition and end up with scurvy and try to sue the company. They're just legally covering their bases. You can absolutely use this responsibly as part of a sensible weight reduction regimen under the direction of your doctor.<br /><br />As everyone else has pointed out, the tub it comes in is ridiculous. It's oversized and the shape with the large base with small opening makes it hard to scoop the product. I transferred mine to a 16 cup plastic food storage container instead.
