Great for calcium

I don’t like I have to take so many a day

Large capsule large bottle

My hand is not large at all but the capsule is larger than most. I put the bottle next to the salt to show size. My only complaint is that the serving size is 6 capsules. That is A LOT. But it explains the size of the bottle. They do go down easy enough but I have yet to take 6 in one sitting. I have only taken them for a few days now so if I need to update this review later I will.

My Wife and Kids Loved Taking This

My wife and kids loved taking Freeda Calcium Gluconate. It's part of their daily intake.
Just a little disclaimer to explain further. For decades, I’m fully interested in researching, understanding, and using natural food supplements, especially those with great quality and potency. However, it takes time to see and measure the full results and benefits of any food supplements, including this one. On immediacy, the supplement may have reaction on me or not, depending on my body’s immunity level and response, which is different to other users. For this reason, my rating is based on several factors. The overall product packaging that contains vital information about the ingredients, processing the content, finished quality, or whether the supplement is easy to swallow, the flavor, and value for money are also part of my assessment. My recommendation here should not be taken as a third-party lab test result or medical advice, rather, as an observation of a voluntary non-medical user. I’m not earning from any of these manufacturers. Moreover, prolonged use may cause compromise of immunity or increase toxicity level in the body. As such, I’ll leave to the user the discretion to continue using this supplement or not.
As for me, I’m giving Freeda Calcium Gluconate a 4.5 star rating.

Much needed calcium supplement

My dentist told me that I need more calcium for my bone and teeth. I have not taken any calcium previously. I ordered Calcium gluconate to supplement my calcium intake. Upon opening the box, I noticed it was a large bottle with large capsules. There were no directions on how many to take, but the serving size was six capsules.

I took six pills at once on the first day, and my stomach did not like it. I started taking the Calcium Gluconate after eating, and my stomach approved. The capsules do have a certain smell, so it was not pleasant to take the pills, but I know that I need calcium for my bones and to prevent osteoporosis. I am not a vegan, but I have been avoiding meat, so I liked that the Calcium gluconate is vegan. It does not contain any artificial ingredients, which explains the smell. I am planning to continue taking Calcium gluconate until I finish the bottle. I am planning to visit my physician next month, and I will consult her about my calcium intake. Overall, the calcium gluconate is a good value, and the item description was accurate.

Good Calcium, But Only Take Calcium If You're Taking Other Supplements

This is one of the best forms of calcium available, and much better than calcium carbonate in terms of absorption and availability to the body. It also happens that while calcium carbonate is high in calcium, magnesium gluconate is low in calcium, so it takes more pills to get more calcium, but what you do get is better absorbed.

I personally would avoid taking calcium unless you are also taking vitamins D and K2. Vitamin D helps the calcium do its job.

Vitamin K2 (MK-7 or MK-4) is essential since it ensures that calcium ends up in the bones rather than the arteries. There is a lot of emerging evidence that excess calcium and even calcium supplements don't do much for bone health, but do contribute to heart disease. Vitamin K2 is a way to ensure calcium gets where it needs to go (the bones).

If you need a good calcium supplement from a very reliable company, this is a great choice. Just be aware that it will require more pills because it is a superior form of calcium.
