So Far So Good!

Found Effer-C while I searched for an alternative for Emergen-C as my afternoon pick-me-up drink. I used to use the popular brand Emergen-C until they changed the formula and started manufacturing it in China, which now tastes horrible and is of questionable quality. I love that Effer-C is fizzy, naturally flavored, and does not contain any "herbal stimulants", something most others contain. The energy boost you get from the B vitamins is plenty for me, and the extra vitamins and minerals help when my immune system is stressed or I'm not eating as well as I should. I also like that they use stevia, and the perfect amount - not too much. Stevia drinks can taste horrible if over-sweetened. They know to let the fruit flavors take front and center.

Curbs my sweet tooth.

I eat this stuff plain -- sprinkle a bit into my mouth and swallow. I've just gotten used to doing it that way. When I have a sweet tooth, especially after lunch, I find that a packet of this handles the sweet tooth, and is much better for me. My son loves it, too, particularly this flavor. We switched over to the NOW Effer-C because Emergen-C is now owned by Pfizer, a Big Pharma company, and the formulation has been changed. I am much more confident of this product.

Delicious and keeps me healthy during cold season

I recently went to a big conference and came home with a terrible cold/flu (AKA "Con Crud"). It kicked my butt for over two weeks, and nothing at all was making me feel better. I started drinking Elderberry Effer-C every day, and over the next few days, I started feeling alive again.

My significant other then came home from a different conference and got sick with Con Crud 2.0. I kept drinking Elderberry Effer-C every day and managed not to catch 2.0, even though my immune system was still dealing with my own illness. That's kind of amazing for me, because I am usually a cold/flu magnet whenever I am already sick.

I travel twice a month for work, and I will start packing enough of this stuff to drink every day while I am away.

Tastes great.

In my search for a sugar-free, crap-free, nice tasting Vitamin C drink I've tried Zarbees Immune Support, Dr. Price's C and zinc, and Effer-C Elderberry. I liked the Effer-C the best for flavor and solubility. It does have a slight yeast smell initially, possibly from the B vitamins, but the elderberry aroma predominates and is delicious. I don't know if it's a bad idea but I mix it with carbonated water when I want a fizzy sense of splash. Also the tube packaging makes it easy to pour the powder straight into a glass without any mess, unlike the less ergonomically designed square packaging that is the market standard.

Great electrolyte product

My regular brand not available so tried this electrolyte supplement. It is great. Taste is great. It dissolves completely and quickly. Best of all works great too and has Vit C and only 5 calories. It helps this old lady stay hydrated and avoid muscle cramps. Price was better so this is my new go to drink. Give it a try.

Yum

I bought the elderberry flavor of this at my local healthfood store because it was on sale and cheaper than Emergen-C. I like this better. Sometimes Emergen-C has a flavor/aftertaste that I can only describe as "fishy," but this one doesn't. The long packets make it easier to pour into a glass too. I recommend!
