I always keep these on hand and store the bottle in the freezer. This product shuts down a cold within a few days! I have only had one break thru cold that went over 5 days in all the years I have used this product. I have not developed a secondary infection - i.e. bronchitis, ear infection, pneumonia, etc. since using these lozenges. And there are no added yucky artificial sweeteners or chemicals. They also taste great. Just a little zinc aftertaste but still no big deal. I refuse to use all the pharmaceutical remedies that have awful side effects and don't really slow the progress of a cold. But this natural product is one I highly recommend!

Fan of elderberry. Seems to quash the ability of cold virus to take hold early on. This is not candy, as other reviewers seem to expect with their complaints about taste.

Elderberry and zinc are a great combination. These taste so disgusting that I wish they were put in a capsule. However, I do like the benefit of the product and I love Now supplements. I hope the company will crush these and capsulize them because they are very difficult to dissolve and they have sort of a rough texture as well. I end up chewing them and washing it down with water. No supplement should be so hard to get down so these can be improved for oral consumption.

My husband has dementia, and cannot take pills. I give him one of these lozenges to chew every morning, and he really likes them. Has stayed well all season.

Absolutely horrible taste. Tried to suffer through it, but just can't. It's awful. Sadly, I just wasted my money.

I wanted to like these but the flavor is lacking. Makes me want to gag, ugh. These are described as lozenges so I assumed they would be like hard candy, not so. They are like sweet tarts but terrible flavor. I couldn't hold it in my mouth very long without wanting to gag.
