My life changed in an instant when I was taken down by a hit and run driver 25 years ago. After extensive surgeries on my intestinal tract I recovered and had a fairly normal 15 year run. Now the scar tissue twists my intestines into balloon animals and every bite I take has to be nutritionally dense because I'm able to eat so little.<br /><br />I am one of those people that eat to stay alive, I don't live to eat...I'm a picky eater. Taste, smells and textures all have to be on the mark or I can't manage it.<br /><br />Yes, this product is expensive. But as someone who absolutely knows the hydrolized broken down essentially &#34;pre-digested&#34; protein strands in this product result in optimum absorbtion and availability of ALL complete amino acids (used to build proteins) I can tell you I would not be as healthy as I am without it. And I'm in excellent health other than my digestive tract.<br /><br />I'm a 65yo woman, live alone, off grid in the mountains and have a physically demanding life taking care of my homestead and animals. I move 2-4,000 pounds of food weekly as a volunteer at the local food bank. I'm not sitting on the sofa watching reality tv and knitting booties.<br /><br />I'm preparing for what I sincerely hope is the last surgery I'll have. I need 80 grams of protein a day. I cannot eat anything that has to be chewed - no meat, cheese, eggs, grains or fiber of any kind, fruit or vegetables. I eat yogurt, pudding and ice cream. Without this product my body would not be able to sustain health let alone be ready for a 10 hour surgery.<br /><br />If you want minimal results and expensive poop filled with half digested whey make your choice based on price.<br /><br />If you want your body to have access to nutritionally available complete proteins it can absorb easily THIS is the best.<br /><br />Good luck with your goals!

I purchased this product paying a premium compared to lesser brands of protein thinking I was getting a premium product. I immediately noticed that the whey had a very sweet taste, even when I didn't blend it with a banana or anything else. A quick glance at the ingredients list didn't reveal anything suspicious. Looking more carefully ingredient by ingredient, I found that this product contained Sucralose and more importantly Acesulfame Potassium (aka Acesulfame K). Do your own research on these sweeteners. I'd rather have no sweetener added rather than have something artificial. I could always add sugar, stevia, or blend the whey with a banana if I needed something sweet tasting. Do your research and come to your own conclusions, personally I try to avoid artificial sweeteners whenever possible and know that they typically are found in "diet" soft-drinks and similar products. I wasn't expecting to find them hidden in my whey protein! I would most definitely NOT want to continue consuming this product now that I'm aware of the sweeteners used. I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

I have been using ON Platinum whey protein for past 2 years and I have never had any issue. But, for some reason, my new box of this whey protein is creating a lot of foam (Way more than usual) and if I rest it for 10 min it starts to breakdown (See the picture). So, I wanted to know if this is normal?

The product works great this is my second tub I have ordered from Amazon the product receives a 5 star as far as performance and flavor go but the packaging receives a zero my last tub was damaged when it arrived even though the box looked fine the tub was damaged

This was so sickeningly sweet it is intolerable! and with the claim of being 1g sugar, so I had a closer look at the label. It uses Sucralose, which while they can claim it contains no added &#34;sugar&#34;, has been proven to create weight gain. These sweeteners promote metabolic dysfunction. Another study shows it to be very dangerous to anyone with autoimmunity problems . I personally was looking for a whey protein that was not sweetened AT ALL!! Read the fine print, folks. This is going into the trash.

As someone who is quiet lactose intolerant I never dreamed I'd be able to enjoy a whey based protein ever which makes hitting your macros a real pain when you're a bodybuilder trying to cut. Thankfully I gave Hydro Whey a try on a whim and have been hooked. It's honestly got great stats, 30 grams of protein to only 4 grams of carbs, NO plant based protein powder can come close to that. Although I am not please that they use artificial sweeteners / flavors / colors and wish they offered an alternative using something natural using things like Stevia / uncolored / natural flavors, and I am hopeful one day they'll start offering such a product. Until then, this is a staple for me to help me accomplish my bodybuilding goals, so far so good!<br /><br />As for the strawberry flavor? It's not bad, I mix it with water when cutting, but otherwise enjoy with Fairlife whole milk. It's a bit sweet, but flavor is good to decent I think.
