The label says capsules. What are these unmarked pills amongst the capsules? This looks dangerous.

It's the eternal struggle - you want to take a zinc supplement, but they all seem to be made of chalk that immediately starts to dissolve in your mouth, AND never goes down without kicking and screaming its way down your throat. What to do? Are we doomed to hacking and thrashing like a dim-witted seagull every time we take some zinc? After scouring Amazon, I finally came across Solaray's zinc capsules. Could this be the answer, I wondered?<br /><br />It could, and it was. The capsules are easy to swallow and don't cause any issues, even when taken on an empty stomach. If regular zinc supplements give you existential angst, be sure to give these a try.

Not a hit against this specific brand, but Zinc in general may cause nausea when taken with other supplements, especially with anti-oxidants. For best results it should be taken alone, separated by several hours before taking other supplements.<br /><br />Also, it may interfere with sleep if taken late in the day.

I ordered this through The Vitamin Shoppe, and received the item promptly. I take Zinc to help my acne, and I am 99% clear. I ran out and had to reorder and the days that I couldn't take it I had pimples form. Luckily, once I started taking this again they went away very quickly.

They works great at a n affordable price!<br />If you take any Acid Blockers,( Tums, Zantac, Omnipresal, etc) you will need to boost your Zinc levels! This is a great was to add extra zinc when it's removed from the acid blockers.

I love taking 50MG zinc during colder months of the year. I usually lower my dosage to 30MG in other months of the year. Helps me maintain a healthy immune system. When everyone else around me is sick, I feel like I'm the only one left standing. I know it is because of my Zinc supplementation. It is also harder for me to catch someone elses cold. I used to catch a cold from someone else even if they looked my way. Everyone should be supplementing with Zinc! Its definitely a year round must have!
