No Fishy Taste

I've been using this product for several months now. Very happy with it. I prefer marine collagen rather than bovine so I like this aspect, plus the fact there is no fishy taste whatsoever. I mix it in with my coffee as an afternoon pick-me-up. My hair is growing, my nails are stronger, and my daughter told me the other day my skin was looking good. I'm sixty-four. I need collagen at this point. Wish I would've known about this a decade ago. LOL

High quality collagen

I’ve tried several collagen brands and this is one of my favorites. For 35 calories you get 10g of collagen and 10g of protein. I prefer to mix this in with my morning coffee. I find it dissolves very well in hot beverages.

Yuck

I’m always trying new collagen powders to add to drinks and this one is gross… I hated to hate it but it’s terrible. I’m going to try adding it to a smoothie instead of my coffee to hide the flavor some. Super bummed because it’s a great brand.

Good but doesn't dissolve

[[VIDEOID:709832308be4b65fd22dd82981d590a7]] This one here has a good amount of protein per serving and I like that the scoop's handle is short so it's actually easy to put back in the canister. I've noticed that the finer the powder, the less it dissolves. This stuff does not dissolve in cold liquid at all. If you are using a blender, or in my case, steaming it, then it's not a big deal.

Not plant based

I came across this while purchasing the tone it up protein powder. I love this brand and assumed all tone it up products were plant based, so I figured I’d try it out. I was a little shocked and grossed out when It arrived and I read “marine based” on the bottle. I’m not a fan of fish and the idea of adding fish byproducts to my morning coffee kind of ruined it for me. I did force myself to finish the contents and got really good at not thinking about what was in it. Honestly it mixed perfectly into my hot coffee, and never once tasted like fish. I’m just weird about seafood and meat in general if I think about it too much. If that doesn’t bother you, this has a great flavor and might work for you! I’m hoping to find a vegan collagen if that exists.

So far so good

I normally get Dr.Axe collagen but I wanted this one for the added "Creamer" quality. Overall, Its pretty good! I like the vanilla taste which isn't too sweet, yet not too fake tasting. It has a bit of coconut cream powder so it adds a bit of creamer quality which is nice if you use this with tea or coffee. Its not going to be like half and half, but nothing is. I use this with chai tea in the morning and its delightful. It mixes well and I like the taste. I am typically very picky about fake vanilla flavors and this one pairs well with coffee and tea. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because you have to add 2 whole scoops for just 9g of protein. Thats not enough protein in my opinion. It does keep me full just off one scoop in the morning and my skin has been looking better for sure.
