Better than a shaker, not quite a blender. But cool battery-free design.

[[VIDEOID:c7eec12a1a84744b434fa78722d8ac1c]] Updated to 5 stars, because it really is a cool design, AND ITS MADE IN USA!

Just received this "blender cup" this evening. (I bought it because I like unique things that don't need electricity. It was not given to me, I have no affiliation, and found this during a search for "personal travel blenders")
Gave it a try after washing, with some almond milk, and whey isolate powder.

- The cup: It seems sturdy, feels good in hand, and functions well. The gears create the slightest resistance, everything feels tight, and it spins smoothly in both directions. 👍

- The mix: Well, as stated in title, it's not exactly a blender, which totally mixes my powders, as you can see, there are some "micro clumps" for lack of a better term. I'm not really disappointed or anything, I didn't have any expectations to speak of. The shake it produced was much more drinkable than had I used my shaker-cup (with whisk ball).
This cup works much better than a standard shaker no doubt.

My Verdict: This is a really cool design. No electricity. Makes a better shake than a regular "shaker", feels well built, and functions nicely. I expect it should last a while as long as it's not abused 🤷 If I were to "critique", I might say that the cap, (made of a flexible silicone type material) although I haven't tried to get it to leak, doesn't "snap" closed like my shaker, and I (suspect) that it (probably) doesn't close as "tightly", leading me to believe that if I shook it hard enough, it might come open.. BUT, this is a lot of speculation right now, so take that with a grain of salt, and considering you don't "shake" this cup to mix, I'd also bet that it's not an issue. I just wouldn't let it roll around in my car full of liquid or something.. 😬

I like it. I think it's a novel design, and I was very interested to see it in person, and again, I'm not dissatisfied. 👍

Thank you for the innovative product 🙏

Shipping was a little longer than prime, but I received it faster than the original expected date. It came packaged in a plastic ziplock, inside of a large brown padded envelope, undamaged, as to be expected. 👍

This is not for mixing solid smoothies, but for powders, it's pretty dang cool. 😁

Pretty cool blender cup, I hoped it was just a bit better.

I drink Whey and Collagen protein drinks and the mixing part is always the biggest chore.

I've mixed by hand, used an electric hand mixer and a battery powered frother / mixer.
I was hoping that this blender cup would save time and provide a more fully blended product.

While this blender cup seems very sturdy and is easy to use, I found that it didn't completely mix the product as well as I had hoped.

When I mix by hand, I use a fork so I can smash the unmixed pieces against the side of the cup, rather tedious and time consuming.
I never really get all of the bits fully dissolved and blended.
The result from my hand mixing is very similar to the performance of this blender cup.

Also this makes the clean-up of the blender cup a bit more work too, as the mixing blades have little chunks stuck to them.
A simple rinse won't work, since they won't dissolve with vigorous mixing, you have to scrub them off the mixing blades.

I also noticed that if you shake the cup to try to break lose those unmixed bits, the top of the cup leaks.

This blending cup will probably work well for things like whipping eggs or drinks that dissolve more easily, like Ovaltine, but I probably won't continue to use it for my protein drinks.

Why deal with finding the cup, the blades, assembling it all, washing it, putting it away, when I can just use a fork and get the same results?

I had high hopes for this cup, but it wasn't up to my expectations, at least not for my protein drinks.

Easy to use mixing cup

While I purchased this elsewhere, this is such a great design for mixing up powders. Everything from protein powder to the single-serve flavor sticks for water. It is a complete paradigm shift from the old shaker bottles.

Way better than a shaker bottle

Rather than shake with the little metal coil ball inside, you twist the top handle and it blends your shake with paddles inside. Seems to do a better job than the shaker bottle and you don't have to worry about losing the ball. The paddles do take up a little bit of room inside the bottle but it's plenty big enough for a protein shake or similar drink. Also, you don't have to shake it meaning less chance for spills or leaks. Overall a great improvement over older cups.

A cool little manual blender

[[VIDEOID:2f6db1be33fb60afbd6745e12153679e]] Obviously this blender cup doesn't mix protein powder as well as my Vitamix, but for a manual mixer cup it does a great job. It does way better than any shaker cup I've used. I'm glad I got this. This will be quite handy whenever my big electric blender is not available or not practical.

Different approach works better, some shaking may be required on thick powders, USA MADE

Works better than your typical shaker bottle ball design AND it’s made in the USA! You may have to shake stubborn protein powder or extra thick concoctions or there will be minor clumping, but better than other blender bottles. My protein shakes are much smoother without those surprise balls of dry protein goo when you take a drink. The function of the blender is easy to use and glides nicely, even with the thick/dense powders. I thought this may be a nightmare to try to clean but it wasn’t. I left it pretty dirty for several hours and one wash in the dishwasher had it perfectly clean.
