Milk Thistle has been around for a while and is usually used to help with improving liver function by keeping toxic substances from binding to liver cells. The number one benefit for taking milk thistle is liver detoxification and health, as a liver support and liver aid, and it acts as a powerful liver cleanser by rebuilding liver cells reducing liver damage and removing toxins. It can help eliminate the build-up of heavy metals, prescription medications, and environmental pollutants and alcohol in the liver. It can also help to reduce the negative effects on the liver after chemotherapy and radiation. Obviously, this is just some of the research that I've done and why I take milk thistle. This particular milk thistle contains a few other extracts which makes it PLUS and why I love this particular brand.<br /><br />The plus extracts are: Kaempferia Paviflora extract which is a member of the ginger family known as Thai ginseng that is believed to be beneficial for brain health and also help in physical fitness. ---- The next extract is Hericium Erinacaus is used to prevent conditions such as anxiety memory loss Alzheimer's disease for Parkinson's disease that's extract is also known as lions main mushroom according to the research I've done. --- Lycium Chinense Miller extract, the 3rd extra extract is a species of shrub that produce a goji berry or wolf berry which has been used traditionally for anti-aging purposes. And finally it also contains 11g of zinc. There are a few other ingredients obviously since it's in a capsule but these are the star ingredients.<br /><br />I have enjoyed taking this milk thistle Plus capsule, as always please check with your doctor before adding any extra supplements to make sure they don't counteract with other meds you may already be using, and always do your own research before adding any supplements to your diet.<br /><br />I have enjoyed taking milk thistle and it's one supplement that I take more during certain times of the year when I feel I need more liver cleanse and repair. I haven't had any issues with this particular brand and so far, I've enjoyed it, so I do recommend it.

Does wonders to my liver, have been taking this one for a long time and won't stop anytime soon. Really, really recommend!

This seems to be a good quality Milk Thistle blend so far.<br /><br />- Capsules are easy to swallow<br />- No odd aftertaste or ill effects<br />- Price/Value is very good<br />- Label has GMP stamp and claims 3rd party lab tested (however I haven't seen the COA yet)<br /><br />I haven't had any problem taking these, but I'm only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I'll revise my review accordingly.

I've just started taking this supplement and so far I'm very pleased. Although too soon to report on any claimed benefits, the pill is easy to take. The powder is very strong and bitter, so I wouldn't recommend opening it to mix in food. Also, you'll want to make sure you wash it down with lots of water as you don't want the pill to get stuck in your throat. At two bottles, this is a great value for the money.

I am so happy that I was able to get these milk thistle supplements! They are of great quality, and I love knowing that I am taking a supplement that will help support my body and my health. These are going to help support reducing the toxins in my body, they will help my digestion, and they will help with my immune system. So happy to have these to add to my supplement regimen. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for this type of supplement.
