great ingredients, light natural taste, low key natural sweetness, NEEDS a blender to fully mix

I find my thoughts to be similar to another review. It is best to use a blender with this. Do not get this for use with a shaker cup, or to stir in, or even a low power mixer. It needs to be a blender like when making a smoothie with stuff in it. If you're good with that, then go for it. For the life of me I could not get all clumps out without an actual blender.

I think the taste is pretty good. It has a low key natural vanilla taste. Very mild compared to other powders. The sweeteners used are on point for me. I love Yacon (sweetness with benefits), and I love monk fruit extract (natural, non-chemical sweetness). It also incorporates actual vanilla bean that you can see!

This is not the powder to buy if you prefer a strong taste. But perfect for those that dont want a synthetic taste or anything too sweet. So often when a product has no/low sugar, they amp it up with sweeteners that take it over the top sweet. This does not. It is also low key sweet.

Protein is from bovine collagen. I am surprised that they don't list the collagen peptides separately. Typically protein and collagen have a 1:1 ratio, so one can assume this has around 20 grams of collagen in it per serving. I dont see a list of amino acids, but go ahead and assume that it lacks tryptophan (bovine collagen does not provide this).

I really enjoyed this paired with pumpkin puree (almost fall, and with a break in weather, I am ready to embrace all the fall tastes). I add a little pumpkin spice and unsweetened macadamia milk.

I'm determined to drink this with coffee, so I will be using a blender to mix it in, or make another pumpkin drink and add some powdered coffee for a boost of caffeine. Doubt it will be a repurchase. We'll see. BTW, the serving size can easily be halved. It's a big serving, and I dont need 20 grams protein at once.

A year ago I had tried their Snickerdoodle collagen protein powder. I remember that that mixed fine, and that I could add it to coffee easily. That was a different listing and does not appear available. This packaging looks different and I am not sure what changed. If it was able to be mixed easily, I would have 4.5-5 starred this.

This is 3.5/4 stars.

INGREDIENTS: Bovine Collagen, Organic Yacon Root Powder, Himalayan Pink Salt, Ground Vanilla Bean, Monk Fruit Extract

The flavor is fantastic and this doesn’t severely thicken coffee.

I really was impressed with the flavor of this powder. It lends a fantastic taste to my coffee that I don’t like. The powder is easily dissolved, and it doesn’t thicken up the drink. Several of the powders I have used, I have had to put in half because it just made the drink to thick. This is perfect in that department.

The only downside is the price. I’m going to see how long it lasts, though. This is so good that if it works well for me I’m going to be tempted to continue using it. What fake sugar is used is a concern as I don’t always react well. I do fine with monk fruit. It’s hard to tell for me if it works well for hair because I’ve been losing it for a long time. It’s a genetic issue. I am curious if it will help joint health mostly. If you can afford it, I really do highly recommend it. Impressive product.

Ew! This is really hard to get down.

I like to take collagen and usually have no trouble just mixing it with water and downing it - no flavors or sweetener needed. Problem with this is that there are big chunks of stuff in it that, not only, make it unappetizing to look at, but the flavor is really disgusting. When I first opened the bag, I thought it had bugs in it.

It says on the bag, "May Contain Shell and/or Pit Fragments." I find myself wondering why anyone would do this to collagen powder. Like who wants shells and pit fragments in their collagen powder.

I literally took one drink and spit it out. Ew! It's not only ugly, but it's chunky, weirdly sweet and has an odd flavor. I really hate it. *I included a picture of the big huge chunk I found in it.

Good ingredients, odd flavor

I'm a daily collagen user, and I was interested in mixing up my flavors from plain to vanilla, so I tried this. I'm not sure if it's the yacon, or the type of collagen they use, but this has a slight bitter/umami flavor that when mixed with the vanilla leaves a subtle taste that I don't like. I usually put unflavored collagen in my matcha latte, but when I put this is it tasted slightly off. Weird. I like the ingredients in this, and the concept, but I'm going back to unflavored, as the vanilla takes away more than it adds for me.

Cost is reasonable, and it's not bad, just not for me.

Not for me

I usually buy the Sports Research Collagen Powder Supplement but thought I would try this one for a change in the flavor options. Unfortunately this product gave my diarrhea really bad. I know is it was all I had that whole morning.

The taste is good. The only reason I gave it a 4 outta 5 stars is b/c it's a bit high in calories. So if you don't mind the calories, you'll like this.
