5000 IU's of Vitamin D3 could be too much for some
I'm not health expert or professional, but I've read up ALOT about Vitamin D3 recommended supplements because I just finished radiation therapy for cancer which stifles bone marrow production during treatment. It's important for me to get back on track with my immunity system so 5000 IU's might not be such an issue for me, but safe recommended upper levels for a healthy person is 4000 IU's daily and above that "hypercalcifation" (over production of calcium levels in the blood) can be a concern long term. Each person's body and absorbtion rates are different and processes an overabundance of nutrients effectively or not, but *know the risks* here before purchasing. It's always best to tell your primary physician of your supplement program since they know more of what is wise or not given your situation.
