Game Changer

I have been using Vega for years and eventually became so burnt out on it and its chalky weird flavor that I would gag at the mere thought of drinking it. I decided to branch out and i'm SO glad I did...This protein powder takes the cake BY FAR in comparison to flavor/texture/price. Seriously the most delicious vegan protien I have ever had. I will be ordering this over and over again.

Gluten free

I decided to try this protein because I'm gluten sensitive and since this is basically pea protein I know I wouldn't have any issues with it. I mix the powder with water and take it after my run and badminton practice. I like how it's not really strong on flavor and not too sweet. The mix goes down easily. I'm mostly using this to help with recovery after workouts and so far so good.

I've tried different ways and I think I've found the best that works for me

I'm having trouble with this. I've tried different ways and I think I've found the best that works for me. First go round I tried light vanilla flavored soy milk (1 cup), 2 tablespoons of skippy peanut butter, and 2 scoops of mix. It was horrible. It was super salty and had that fake sweetener aftertaste. It was grainy and chalky, even after a minute in my nutribullet. I was worried as I have this massive container I couldn't return.
Next go round I tried just the light vanilla soy milk (2 cups) and only 1 scoop of powder. This was better but not the best. It has a salty punch on your first sip and then fades with that fake sweet after taste.
This most recent I think is the best so far. I've taken about a cup and half of vanilla almond milk (I bought the soy by accident and I prefer almond milk anyways), 5-6 ice cubs, and 1 and half scoops of powder. It has the consistency almost like a non-dairy melted Wendy's frosty. It's still a bit chalky but not terrible, the ice helps. It still has that bizarre salty kick but it's not terrible, and maybe it's actually the pea protein? I've never had a plant-based protein shake so i'm not schooled in this stuff and how it's supposed to take. The fake sweet taste is still there but it's not too bad. I think I can get through the rest of this container with this method.
As for what it does, it's alright I guess. I got it as a protein replacement for meals. I usually make a few roasted or steamed veggie combos for dinner and was struggling with constantly eating tofu, beans and lentils aren't totally my thing yet. So I wanted to make sure I was getting enough protein after my runs and workouts. I don't think I'm getting the full effect simply because using two scoops of powder is too much flavor and too much gritty chalkyness.
This is just my take, I relied on other reviews and I don't think I've had the same experience. I don't like that you can't return it, though I completely understand; they can't resell opened containers. However, they should make sample packets, or smaller containers. If they have them, and I didn't see them, then never mind.

Very tasty, blends well, and filled me up for hours.

I just received this yesterday and I’m really impressed. The taste is amazing! It’s also incredibly filling which was a nice surprise. I’m usually hungry every couple of hours but one shake filled me up for half the day! I mixed it with unsweetened hemp milk, banana, vanilla extract, Ceylon cinnamon, frozen blueberries and a bit of honeydew melon. It was so creamy and flavorful and blended wonderfully. I am curious about the “natural fruit and vegetable blend” - what exactly is that?... and the “agave inulin, and “acacia gum.” Typically I prefer less ingredients, and like to avoid fillers. Additionally if the “quinoa trim” was sprouted that would be ideal for better digestion. Nonetheless, it was easy on my stomach (which is extremely sensitive to bloating) and I felt great all day.

Update: I am now on my second order and still really loving it. This is my favorite protein powder!

PROTEIN FOR THE SOUL

I go to the gym about 4-5 times a week and because of my daily ritual of gyming, sweating, and dying daily I go through quite a bit of protein to make sure these muscles get all the love they can. I’ve gone through many different types of protein from your favorite whey to your mainstream muscle milk protein. To me protein is protein but to my mom she is very adamant about HEALTHY ORGANIC stuff so I gave this organic protein a try and I’ll say it is quite a ride with just water and like every other review I recommend to mix it with anything else BUT if you can’t prepare your tastebuds for a roller coaster of adventure that could be even more taxing than going to the gym. The protein is good I have no complaints I enjoy it and it fulfills my needs. It’s got no dairy so people who tend to fart and poop too much can eat it. It fulfills the organic part so my mom can get off my butt. It’s vegan so you can feel better about using it I guess and it keeps the vegans away from complaining about you and it’s protein so it fulfills my lifter needs. All in all I think if your looking around for protein and need it to be organic, non dairy, and vegan then this protein can work for you.
