I selected these protein bars for my younger son who still lives with us and is frequently on the go. This kind of thing is a good option for him in the mornings, and overall we like these bars. There's a catch, though.<br /><br />These have a very familiar taste and texture. They remind me very much of Carnation Instant Breakfast Bars that I used to have in the 70's. These were a blast from the past for me, and I definitely like them. My son also enjoyed them and had one every day until they were gone.<br /><br />There is one big complaint I have with them - they are quite expensive. When priced individually these weigh in at over $2/bar which is not terrible for protein bars - except that these are very small, much smaller than typical protein bars.<br /><br />We like these and are glad we tried them. They have a nice flavor and for me they took me back 40 years. However, the pricing is prohibitive and as such it is unlikely I will buy more unless the price comes down.

Not bad taste wise, a little bland, the lemon could be a bit stronger but its not bad. Doesn't leave any chemical taste behind. Definitely would buy again

Naturally flavored with lemon oil.

The first bite took my wife and I back thinking these don’t really taste great, but as we kept eating them, we started to appreciate the flavor more and more. These bars are fairly well rounded having all the macros covered, so if you are trying for protein only, these likely aren’t the bar for you.
