Good collagen product

I like this collagen peptide powder. It dissolves easily in my coffee and has zero taste. Along with the two types of collagen, it also contains several amino acids. The price is great for the size and ingredients. My only complaint is that the collagen is only 6.7 grams, instead of 10 grams that most brands contain.

Collagen is a Beauty Must Have!

This is my first experience using collagen in a powder form. I have usually taken it in tablet form. This powder has a tendency to glob up so you have to mix it really well. I recommend a hot liquid. The benefits of a powder collagen are supposedly more effective. The results are wonderful! This is a clean product and only gives you ingredients that will benefit you except for a wee amount of sodium(45mg) and 25 calories. The amount of collagen is 6,700mg, which is way more than you would get in tablet form. You will definitely notice the results in your skin right away after continued use. This collagen is derived from bovine, which is recommended by the experts, grass-fed bovine being the absolute best. It also lists an elaborate amino acid profile which is recommended for the best results. It is lab tested and packaged in the USA using good manufacturing practices with ethically sourced ingredients. If you like seeing a younger version of you and you want a product that delivers the best in lab tested ingredients then this is the product for you. I highly recommend this collagen after doing some research and trying it for myself.

Unflavored, Standard Collagen

Some research suggests collagen may help with skin and joint health, and it is rich in the amino acids glycine and hydroxyproline, both of which are abundant in the skin. Glycine has also been shown recently to have anti-aging benefits when combined with N-acetylcysteine.

I have taken collagen fairly regularly for about a year and it does seem to provide some benefits. This is just straight collagen and it is fairly tasteless and mixes well with coffee. I mix it in soups as well, as it can thicken them.

Just be aware that collagen doesn't contain tryptophan, an important essential amino acid that is involved in serotonin production. Because of this, I wouldn't rely on collagen as a major source of protein. I also take tryptophan separately. If you eat a balanced diet you should be fine, but if you rely on collagen, it could be a problem.

Horbäach is a quality, trusted brand that does testing on their products. The price of this collagen is pretty fair, although there are some less expensive options.

Easy to take

My wife has been taking collagen regularly because it might help with bone density. This particular collagen supplement dissolved well in warm water. It had the typical flavor she associates with collagen supplements, and it was easy to take, though it recommends taking on an empty stomach, which is not something that other supplements suggest. We haven't noticed any side effects while she was taking it.

Grass-Fed Sources for This Collagen Powder

This Collagen powder is unflavored and mixes relatively easily with hot fluids like coffee or tea.
I had some difficulty mixing it with frozen fruit smoothies made with with ice in a blender.
It has different types of collagen in it (Type I, Type III) and has approximately 7 grams of collagen per serving.
Essential and non-essential animo acids are the primary constituents of this non-GMO collagen powder.
Although not listed as organic, the sources for this collagen powder are listed as grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine. “Marketing Hype” or “Truth in Advertising”…you decide.
This 7 ounce container of collagen powder is designed to last a month at 30 daily servings.
At $12 when I bought it, it is a relatively good value for a daily source of collagen.

Excellent collagen powder

Started taking collagen consistently a month or so ago and have really noticed my skin is more plump and moisturized even as it's getting cold out and the drying heaters are in use. This seems high quality like the other I've been taking, it mixes well with my tea and is unflavored. You could probably find a little better value if you buy in bulk from another brand but that also means a huge plastic container to shuffle around if your kitchen is space challenged like mine so for that it's a good value.
