I googled protein that tastes good with water and this product came up. I have to say I don’t really agree with that assessment, it’s not bad but has odd overtones but it’s easy to drink. I’ll finish it but my quest to find the ideal protein with water will continue. An amino acid profile on the label would have been nice.

The protein powder dissolved easily in water makes it easy to use when I am in a rush and don't want to be bothered with a smoothie maker.<br /><br />I mixed a serving of this powder in a blender bottle and was out the door that easy. Made a smoothie for the evening using greek vanilla yogurt and frozen blueberries and it also came out good. However, I would have preferred a more intense chocolate flavor, and found that it was a bit intense on the pea flavor. With one smoothie where I had used a high concentration of this powder, it was very difficult and unpleasant to drink relative to a whey protein powder I’ve used before. However, with lower concentrations, it tasted much better. At the end of the day, no protein powder tastes particularly delicious.<br /><br />This vegan protein powder has an excellent nutritional profile with 20gm of pea protein, which is easy to digest. Each serving scoop of this pea protein powder has 20g of vegan chocolate protein with only 120 calories, 4g carbs, 3g fat with zero sugar and no artificial colors or preservatives.<br /><br />I also like the fact it is made in the USA, and made by B corp company, which means they have high social and environmental performance, which I value dearly.

Here's my recipe.<br /><br />8oz milk<br />1 frozen banana<br />1 serving protein powder<br />1 serving peanut butter powder<br />Ice and water to top for blender cup<br /><br />Sounds good right.<br /><br />I don't drink any protein powder using only water or milk, I don't tend to like them. So I don't test any that way.<br /><br />Before making the shake I smell the powder, this smelled fine, sight essence of chocolate.<br /><br />I also give the powder taste test, on my finger, nothing offensive here, chocolate in my future.<br /><br />So after making my usual shake using this in the serving of protein powder my results were a good tasting morning shake. It has the usual consistency of sludge from the plant protein.<br /><br />In fact, the chocolate flavor was about perfect.<br /><br />This is a high quality powder, very fine, it gets everywhere as I used it.<br /><br />I'm looking forward to enjoying this powder till it's gone.<br /><br />I'd consider buying this when I need more.<br /><br />I hope you enjoyed my review.

Holy moly! It's got good protein but it's way too sweet. I used unsweetened flax milk too.

I don't know what I was expecting, it's plant protein. It tastes weird and I tried it in protein waffles, usually any protein powder I had would have worked fine, but it made the waffles taste awful. I only use it mixed with almond milk, but it's clumpy and doesn't mix too well for me.
