I am on prescription Nexium for GERD and have used the OTC brand name Nexium as well as this generic brand. The only difference I can tell is the dosage of my prescription and the dosage this says to take. I only take what is stated as the dosage on this bottle, I do not up the dose to match my prescription dosage. This generic esomeprazole works just as well as the brand name OTC and my prescription Nexium!! Honestly, I just prefer to take this, because it's cheaper than my prescription and OTC Nexium but works just as well as either of those! The capsule is very tiny and easy to take.<br /><br />Seriously... this is the same quality just at a fraction of the price!<br /><br />Would I recommend this? Absolutely!

I’ve had a difficult time with heartburn and indigestion which is brought on by a defunct gallbladder. I’m too stubborn to have a cholecystectomy, and until I do manage to have one, these capsules have helped to keep the heartburn at bay. I’ve tried many other heartburn treatments, both over the counter and ones prescribed to me by my doctor. However, this one is the first to really help me combat the particularly awful nighttime heartburn. I have even tried the brand name, Nexium. It’s weird that the generic seems to work for me whereas the brand name hasn’t. The price is great and the delivery was incredibly fast. I guess I said all that to say this... I am one satisfied shopper.

I live two hours from the nearest Walmart where I used to purchase my medicine for severe acid reflux. So many times I've gone and they were out. This is one medicine I cannot go without so now I have it reoccurring and even save money. I have it a minimum of a week before I need it delivered to my mailbox. Same quality as the brand name

I honestly want to cancel my Prime now just because they hide truthful reviews that are not bad in any way.<br /><br />I don't buy name brand because the price is too high. I have been buying generic esomeprazole for years and never had a problem. I bought the Amazon brand because it was the cheapest at the time. After a couple days of taking them, I noticed my symptoms getting worse and at first I thought it was just me or something I ate that really messed me up. Well, I always have multiple bottles of this medicine around (one in my purse, one in different rooms of the house.) I unintentionally started taking one of the other generic brands again for a few days and my symptoms went away completely. Then I started taking the Amazon brand again and that's when I realized the medicine was actually the problem, not me. My symptoms get so bad that it's like I didn't take anything at all. So I cannot use these. I recommend literally any other brand. I've tried nearly every generic brand and store brand of esomeprazole out there and they've all worked. Avoid this one, especially if you rely on these pills daily.

My husband takes the prescription Nexium. We weren’t able to get into the Doctor for a refill during the pandemic so I ordered these for a temporary fix. He has TERRIBLE heartburn and the over the counter Nexium became very expensive since he takes 40mg a day (2 pills). Ordered these to try and they work well and are literally more than half the price. He has taken them for theee months now with no problems.

I've been taking this for 3 years, and didn't know Amazon carried them. These are just like the name brand or store brand, but a ton cheaper!
