No "Way" You Will Beat It!

This may be a roundabout review, but it's only because it turns out I'm late to the party. All this time I'd been consuming various whey protein supplements that I had assumed to be the real deal, only to discover I couldn't have been further from the truth. How did I find this out? Only by learning about the wonders of glutathione and what are considered its "precursors," substances the body converts for its own magical glutathione production. So it turns out whey protein is a powerhouse for this, but only a certain kind. As in, the "real" kind. What what? Having completed Body for Life and other workout regimes, I thought I was pretty well versed in available whey protein supplements. So what was the big deal about CONCENTRATED rather than ISOLATED versions, and why such a fuss about grass-fed milk sources? Pardon my ignorance, but a little research sent me straight down the rabbit hole yet again, no different than when we learned about the various labeling of dog food and how protein "meal" was much more nutrient dense than other forms. Once I learned what true whey was supposed to be and how it critically mattered for glutathione. production, the quest then began to find a suitable product at a decent price. I mean, if the whole family is going to consume it in protein shakes or however, it can't be too expensive or we won't afford it. Yet I also realize that the good stuff doesn't usually come cheap. We would have to search out a happy balance between the two, and luckily we did! This whey is a true nutrient superstar and a real gamechanger. There's absolutely no "way" we're going back to the other stuff. The difference is night and day. From the moment I first opened the package, I could sense that this was a "real' food and not just mere hype. The richness and the density and the texture struck me as authentic, just like when I tasted true Irish milk and cream for the first time. For those who say it's hard to blend, I'm not sure how to respond because we use a VitaMix and there's no problem at all. We blend up chocolate and peanut butter smoothies that are out of this world! And it really delivers a punch! I've added it to our monthly Subscribe & Save and will continue to reorder as long as it remains available. Which I hope is forever because I've since tried to find an equivalent out in the "real world" in case it disappears. And while there are many that come close, I can vouch that there are few and far between that match this one's superlative credentials and certainly at this pricepoint. Small batch, grass-fed, minimally processed, non-GMO, whey concentrate and not isolate -- here you have it, a true winner and the cornerstone of our supplement regime. I hope it's a boon to your own health and it becomes a family staple as it has in ours.

Great option for those who hate Stevia.

So I bought this particular product because I can't stand the aftertaste of Stevia. I just can't handle it, I did wish they had this is chocolate (without any sweetener) but that wasn't the case so I had to get this plus a bag of natural cacao. Two scoops of this, 1 tbsp of cacao powder, 8-10 oz of almond milk plus half of a banana and a pinch of cinnamon make for a great protein shake!! Absolutely love how well it blends and it doesnt have a weird smell either. I believe the calorie content is a little higher than most flavored whey protein mixes and the protein content is also not bad although there are some with a higher content. Either way, I would purchase this again.

Cleanest, Best Tasting Whey

This is the best tasting whey I have ever had and I have tried many through the years. It makes delicious shakes even with milk or milk substitutes only and very little sweetener (optional). It also makes phenomenal raw protein bars with peanut butter and maple syrup and some type of binder like ground flax or oats if you can tolerate them or whatever. I ordered this based on reviews. Being from Wisconsin originally, I know the dairy there is some of the best in the nation. I was pleased to support Wisconsin farmers.
However I ended up taking advantage of this seller's money-back-guraantee and requesting a refund. Why? I noticed a significant uptick in migraines after I started to take the whey protein. Is it the amines -- perhaps glutamine or histamine or even MSG created in the manufacturing process? Or something else entirely? I don't believe it is a dairy allergy because I can drink plain grass fed bovine milk until the cows come home with no problem (forgive the pun).
I don't eat much meat because the quality and freshness of meats in all the grocery stores around here is some of the worse I've ever seen (think warehouse vacuum-packed), and I recently got food poisoning from chicken (government states that 30-100% of chickens in grocery stores are contaminated with campylobacter). I wanted whey to work since it's such a phenomenal source of protein/amino acids. If I ever figure out what the problem is and resolve it and find I can eat whey without migraines, I will become a regular consumer of this brand.
I rated the product 5 stars based on its merits and not my personal experience due to health issues. I definitely recommend this seller as well for their amazing customer service!

This is the Best Whey protein I've had since the 90's when I ...

This is the Best Whey protein I've had since the 90's when I loved Designer Protein and then they changed the ingredients. This protein is very fine and not coarse so it can be somewhat dusty. Once you learn how to mix it then you're set. I use it with Goat milk so the only taste is the milk. Goats don't eat grain so there isn't any contamination. Also, this is the only Whey product that I've had in the past several years that doesn't cause a GI disturbance. Everyone is different but make smart choices. It's funny reading a comment about purchasing unflavored whey, mixing it in water and then hating the taste!?

It tastes like nothing!

It says it tastes like nothing and guess what? It tastes like nothing! I have used the protein powder in a shake and with Kodiak cakes. It mixes well with the Kodiak cakes and my protein shake (almond milk + water + banana + strawberry + 2 scoops protein). The reason I wanted to try this is because it has ONE ingredient (no fillers) and was at a good price. I tried Fit Miss protein in chocolate and had really bad tummy issues with it. I've had it for a week and would like to update my review once I've been using it for awhile.

UPDATE: I've had the unflavored for a few months and recently reordered a second bag and trying the chocolate flavor. The unflavored is really good to add in homemade protein bars. The only downside to this one is that it does NOT taste good/mix well with plain water. Just don't go there. Everything else mixed with it is really good!

Good stuff, better than other whey protein concentrates

Great taste and like that it is processed to preserve many of the benefits of raw milk.

I use this is my fruit smoothies:

In blender:

1 cup water
2 heaping Tblsp Grass Fed Whey
1/4 cup freshly ground flax seeds
1 heaping Tbls hemp pro powder
2 tsps. of spirulina powder
1/2 tsp stevia
1 heaping tablespoon pineapple concentrate (frozen)
1/2 cup blueberries-frozen
1/2 cup melons or other fruit-frozen

I like mine slushy so I add more frozen fruit til it gets to the right consistency
