Very clean, vegan protein powder and tasty but pricey
I tend to lean towards being plant based most days during the week so I like to mix it up with various types of protein powders. Some are hits but plenty are misses too for numerous reasons so I wanted to give the ODYN a try.

First of all, remember any protein powder with nuts or seeds in it will always have a slightly grittier texture as they can only be milled/broken down so much.

Second, pea protein is what many call an, "acquired" taste. I personally love it and have a pea protein shake daily with some cacao.

Lastly, hemp protein powder has a earthy taste.

What you get with ODYN is a fusion of all three properly balanced with sea salt and healthier sweeteners including stevia which I use daily.

It mixes well and tastes very good. All the "plant based" notes are there from a slight grittiness from the almonds to the unmistakable taste of pea protein (which is the primary protein source in this shake) and a touch of hemp.

I love that is also is very low carb/keto friendly (net 1g carbs) and has 2g of fiber per serving. It even has some flax seed in there for a dose of Omegas.

I enjoyed it very much mixed with 12oz of unsweetened almond milk. I did add an extra splash of stevia for a touch more sweetness.

Only complaint is price per serving as trying to quaff a few of these a day could add up price wise quickly.

Each bag has 13 servings at the current price of $32.99 which comes out to ~2.54USD per serving. If your objective is just protein supplementation, you can achieve that elsewhere for much less.

On the other hand, if you desire a protein mix that also checks off other boxes (fiber, Omegas, natural ingredients, multi-blend vegan) this one fits the bill.

4/5
