Disappointed. I used to use Designer Whey years ago and looked forward to trying the natural version. However I find products sweetened with stevia to be way too sweet and have a foul chemical aftertaste. This one is no different. I will choke it down until it's gone and then switch back to natural powders without the awful stevia in them.

Previously I had only tried the vanilla flavor, which I liked. I just reordered a large container of this "gourmet chocolate" flavor whey powder.<br /><br />It's good to add to cold brew coffee. I've also added it to a banana and some nut butter for delicious smoothies. I'm doing physical therapy to rehab my legs and was having a hard time getting enough protein, especially after pt exercises. Glad I found this Designer Whey powder.

I hate the flavor and texture of most protein powder but this is one of the few I tolerate well. I can still taste the protein powder flavor but the chocolate helps, and it's not as obvious as a lot of them are. I find it a little sweet so I add in some cocoa powder or coffee and it actually tastes pretty good.

I was suggested by a friend to try this why protein to help curve my hunger throughout the day, especially after my workouts. I initially purchased the 12 oz size to trial the flavor and was impressed by it, having the essence of chocolate without it being overly sweet. However, the 32 oz size is sweeter and has a different flavor profile than the 12 oz size, but it isn't make or break for me. Some other things of note:<br /><br />-As of May 2020, the container I received expires in May 2022<br />-The container came with a screw cap instead of a flip cap<br />-The seal was intact and had no discoloration as some other reviews have pointed out<br /><br />I usually mix this with skim milk as it achieves a much better flavor than with water. I have this daily with breakfast following my morning workout as this has been helpful for me to satiate my hunger. I will follow my friend's lead and definitely would recommend as protein/nutrition supplement!

My brother got me started on this after he dropped 20 pounds in two months drinking two of these a day and then eating whatever he wanted for the third meal. Mostly I eat this for breakfast and lunch but if I'm going to have lunch out somewhere then I drink it for supper. I have the French vanilla and gourmet chocolate-I add frozen tropical fruits to the French Vanilla or instant coffee or bananas, I add frozen strawberries or frozen bananas to the chocolate. Occasionally I add a tablespoon of peanut butter to either. I lost 6 pounds the first week and then leveled out for a couple of weeks and now I'm averaging 1 to 2 pounds a week with exercise every other day. I am not hungry and my digestive system is so thankful! I like experimenting with frozen fruits and I'm especially thankful that Amazon carries it at a fabulous price because it's hard to find consistently in the stores. I think they taste great and I feel like I'm drinking a milkshake every time! Not to mention my grocery bill is so low now!

I started eating a high protein diet almost a year ago and lost 25 lbs. Finding the right protein powder took a while. So many taste so gritty. I found Designer Whey at my local store and after 6 months, they stopped carrying it, of course!<br />I decided to give Amazon a shot and looky! They have it. And they have different flavors.<br />I love it. Works great for cooking and for protein shake.
