I think we all know what Zinc does for us. At this point, we just want good quality, affordable zinc. And I'd say you've found it here. It's a good dosage and a nice price. The picolinate form of zinc is arguably the best form to take. And the quality of BestVite zinc is top notch, lab tested and COA verified. If you need a new zinc brand, I highly recommend giving BestVite a try (and not just for zinc, their products are top quality).
I ordered this but I found out I need only a fraction of what is in the capsule. We have chicken, cashew nuts, almond nuts, kale veggies, etc. which are high in zinc. But our bodies only require about 12 mg -15 mg of zinc on a daily basis, otherwise more than that, an overdose of this mineral in men (I can't speak about women) could result to problems like prostate cancer. So, I refused to take this 50 mg-supplement and just threw the bottle away.
I like to take my zinc supplements in powder-in-a-capsule form because I'm less likely to get nausea from it, and I've never tried this particular form of zinc before (picolinate), but I've read that it is the best form of zinc, and I haven't gotten even a little nauseous from taking it, so I'm liking it a lot!
Been taking this for about six weeks. Energy is more consistent and I feel less sluggish in the afternoons. Happy with the purchase.
Works well. Deducting a star because the bottle is hard to open with one hand, but the product itself is solid.
Good quality supplement. About three weeks in and noticing a difference, mostly in energy levels.
