Warning! Owned by Proctor and Gamble
This New Chapter product was my favorite vitamin and I really trusted them. Sadly, this once independently-owned company has sold out to megaconglomerate Proctor and Gamble, which tests products on animals and has strong ties to Monsanto. I will not buy this product anymore as I can no longer trust the brand with my health or my dollars.

BUYER BEWARE - INFERIOR TO THE PRODUCT IT REPLACES
I just sent an email to New Chapter Organics. I'll be interested to learn why they drastically cut the potency of these vitamins versus the original Every Woman. They have also changed the recommended dose to two tablets daily where the old ones recommended three. So what we have here is a multivitamin that is about 25% less potent than what it replaced, meaning that you would have to take TWICE AS MANY as recommended to achieve the same degree of potency. To explain, let's take, for example, the IUs of vitamin A that you USED to get with the old vitamins (10,000) (at 3x/day), meaning each vitamin has about 3,333 IUs of Vitamin A. With the 'new enhanced formula' vitamins, you're getting a total of 5,000 IUs for 2/day, meaning that each one has 2,500 IUs. Therefore, you have to take twice as many to get the same potency (4 x 2,500 = 10,000). Now, if you're okay with a lower potency, fine, but just be aware that it's more money in their pockets for what they're touting as an 'enhanced' product with the same name, that you have to take twice as many of to get the same results. Just what exactly have they enhanced? Oh, wait! They've added Vitamin K-2, whatever that is, which wasn't in the original product, to the tune of 10 micrograms, about 12% of our DV. Yay.
See my old review on the old vitamins. They WERE the best vitamins I've ever taken, including Swanson, which I tried and with which I was unimpressed, and Trader Joe's with nearly identical supplement ingredients and potencies, with which I was also unimpressed. I just really hardly ever got sick when I took the New Chapters. I don't know why. I usually don't have such allegiances to products, because I know they come and go, but I'm disappointed that the formulation has changed, and I'm really disappointed in New Chapter's bait-and-switch tactics. You'll now have the privilege of paying 70% more for the equivalent of the same product, it just won't look that way if you don't look at the potency amount. I won't explain the math; just trust me.
I won't buy these, EVER.
Oh, and to the person who didn't look at the serving size and thought it had doubled, there used to be an Every Woman One Daily and still is. This was never that product. It's always been a 3-a-day, at least until now.

Not Gluten free, NEVER WAS!!
THIS IS NOT GLUTEN FREE. IF YOU HAVE CELIAC OR GLUTEN INTOLERANCE, PLEASE READ ON.

I used to take these, ordered them a few days ago. Today I called amazon to report that they changed their formula and that I woke up with the ill effects that gluten sensitive people do. No, last night I did not notice the label because I was exhausted and thought it was the normal formula. I only noticed today due to feeling terrible & seeing if I could take it on an empty stomach. Much to my surprise, the label changed, it used to say “contains fermented soy. gluten free.” Now in addition it says “contains fermented wheat.” Yet still says gluten free.

I called New chapter and of course they were defensive saying it always had it for one of the supplements but the FDA forced them to list it. Also citing that it is still considered “Gluten Free” because it has the minimum amount allowed by the FDA to call it gluten free. I had to point out that this is not okay for gluten sensitive people and had I had celiac, I would be in the hospital right now as I am feeling the effects of the gluten today. This explains why I had to get a second endoscopy in 2012 when I was taking these because I couldn’t understand why I was feeling the effects when I had avoided including anything containing gluten/wheat in my diet. Mind you the new labels still say gluten free, in very small print. I think it’s time for GF consumers of New Chapter to complain to the FDA, I should not feel ill due to a company’s irresponsibility and defensiveness. If I hadn’t had insurance at the time, I would definitely be sending my medical bills to New Chapter/Proctor & Gamble. Makes me want to stop taking their turmeric force which is helping with my back pain at the moment, makes me wonder if there is any gluten in that despite their claims of “Gluten Free.”

Very fortunate that I ordered this from Amazon with their sensitivity to this matter. They were not made aware by New Chapter to change the photos/listing of the item. If I had purchased this at a health food store, I’d be out of my money! Amazon should send a big fat bill to New Chapter for their shady behavior. NON GMO but still toxic for food sensitive people.

Good So Far!!!!
I've been through SO many multivitamins and have never really noticed a difference. Usually I end up just "forgetting" to take them after a while and that is that. This is the first time I've noticed a tangible difference. My hair, at only 28 years old, was starting to fall out---now it isn't. I have more energy and less depression. Even though it didn't stop me from getting my annual cold, it did help lessen the symptoms and duration, so I'm putting good faith in its claims to support the immune system. This is also the first multivitamin with Iron that hasn't left me dreadfully constipated and nauseated!

Cheap inferior ingredients
At almost $50 I expected these vitamins to use high-quality ingredients. I was shocked to see they use garbage B12 as Cyanocobalamin, this is an inactive form of B12- this is junk. They are using folic acid instead of the much higher quality and much better for you methyl-folate. Magnesium as magnesium oxide which is low-quality garbage. Yes, I do give them props for non GMO, and using no artificial coloring, however, I returned these because they are using some garbage products. Avoid!

My go to!
I think this may be one of 3 reviews I've ever written for any product so I'm here to say, that these must be special that I thought they deserved one. I have always had a really low level of energy and mood as well as suffer from anxiety and depression. I'm not saying they clear every problem, and I also take other vitamins such as fish oil etc. But I have absolutely noticed a major difference in my mood, sleep, energy levels, calmness, and hair. And those are just the things I have paid attention to.

I've recommended these to several people now who have also noticed a difference. I'm writing this in hopes that if someone isn't sure, this can maybe help them feel better as I have!
