This is my third time placing a review concerning this product & it still have not been posted.<br />The tablets are large & hard to swallow 5 tablets at one time. I did not realize that it takes 5tablets to equal 1000mg.

After looking for the highest amount of calcium citrate and least amount of fillers and other crap, per tablet for 9 months I finally found this product. I had a spinal fusion and my surgeon said that I need to take 2000 milligrams of calcium citrate a day. This and TJ's brand are the only ones I could find. This is the best deal I could find. I was a bit skeptical after buying another brand large bottle on Amazon as the ingredients shown were not the same as the label on the actual bottle that arrived. The tablets are just as good as any other comparable calcium citrate but it's nice to be able to purchase a larger quantity at a good price.

1. The label says that there are "240 TABLETS" in the container and that each "serving" provides 700 mg of calcium and 400 IU of vitamin D3. I suppose I should have noticed that switch from "tablet" to "serving." Foolish me. A serving, it turns out, is 2 tablets. So how come the "120 servings" isn't on front of the label in print as large as the "240 TABLETS" instead of in the back in a font one-third the size.<br />2. I usually don't have trouble downing pills, even large ones. But there's something about these tablets that, for me, makes them hard to swallow. I'd guess it's the graininess of the tablets' exterior.<br />3. It seems to me that there are more broken tablets in the bottle than is the case with other brands of calcium tablets I've used. I purchased the Best Naturals Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D-3 240 Tablets because Calcium with citric acid is better absorbed by the body than calcium bonded with other substances. I have a fused spine and am about to have my second shoulder surgery. In addition, I am menopausal and nearing an age where osteoporosis is a realistic concern. This bottle has 240 pills and suggests two pills a day. That averages out to a four month supply. That is one heck of a bargain for the price. The pills are large but I have never had an issue taking pills. There is no strong odor, flavor or after taste. I took them with food and had no stomach issues. I am also impressed that these are made in the United States. That is a huge plus in my book. I will buy this product again!

I tried to called Best natural as they are the manufactures. their customer service is non existent. I had just started to use this bottle I always have back up and this bottle was my back up. I cant return Aug 10 was cut off date. I cant even put the little pieces togethe to make a pill as it is so scratchy on my throat. I am so disappointed. This bottle was supposed o have 240 pills I will be lucky to get 50 normal pills from this bottle

Good product and service. I like this product because it doesn't have the extra minerals in it since I take them separately at the dosage I need.
