This is my 2nd time buying this protien .Woo hoo man o man. This is some good stuff. I love the chocolate flavor espically it doesnt make you feel bloated. The consistency and texture is just right not all thick like other protien shakes. I only knocked off 1 star beacuase it comes half way full.
I picked up 5 of these (chocolate) at $19.99 each a few weeks back and have finally gotten around to trying them after running out of Orgain. For $19.99... they're a steal. For $30+? Orgain is actually (normally) cheaper. Guess I'll switch between the two depending when one or the other is on sale. Wish I would have ordered about 20 of these when they were $19.99, though.<br /><br />For $19.99 - 10/10<br />For $30+ - 7/10
The ingredients are high quality. It does mix very well in my high-powered blender, but the flavor isn’t to my liking. The stevia is overpowering with long-lasting aftertaste, which surprised me considering it is the last ingredient listed. I’ll finish off the protein powder because it’s expensive but I won’t be buying it again, which saddens me because this has high plant protein per serving (22 grams) and potassium and calcium.
It is a great deal as far as vegan protein goes. But the taste is chalky and gives me a headache like other plain protein powders. I'd spend the extra money to buy Ghost's version simply because the taste is amazing in comparison.
It’s a little too sweet. It has no gums like guar gum and xanthan gum. Plus no sucralose. Cleanest vegan protein and best tasting for the price when I got it on sale at $18. I recommend drinking it with water because the sweetness is insane. I drank it with vanilla almond milk and wanted to throw up.
I have tried A LOT of vegan and vegetarian protein powders of a wide range in price. This product is by far the least appealing. The taste is so gross. They say it's not chalky? It's SO chalky. There is a VERY distinct pea flavor too. I had to hold my nose while drinking it because it was so disgusting and then rinse my mouth out after. Is there a satisfaction guarantee? If not, good thing it's so cheap. I wondered why a reputable company like Jacked would put out such a cheap product. Seems like they did not nail it in the Vegan department. Maybe stick with animal products, it's what you do best.
