I like to make sure any immune support products I take have zinc and selenium, for their antiviral properties. I've only recently learned that cells apparently need a "key" like quercetin to allow the zinc and selenium to enter the cell. Thus this Kappa formulation appears to be looking for an intelligently designed balance in immune support elements.<br /><br />The elderberry component is also a centuries-old provider of antioxidents used to boost the immune system. My wife and I began adding an elderberry supplement to our daily nutrition a few years ago and we've ordered various brands over that time. When we saw this available for review from Amazon via VINE, we agreed.<br /><br />Now, we're not pharmacists or doctors so we can't review this from a scientific point of view. In fact, we also know from our general reading about nutrition over the years that these elderberry supplements aren't necessarily super effective. But, on balance, we decided to take this on a daily basis and so we were pleased to see this product at what, for us, was quite a reasonable list price. Through VINE, we got a free bottle, but now we're likely to become future customers.<br /><br />One more tip: Shop around in your local store or on Amazon. "Amazon Elements" also has an "Elderberry Complex" supplement. In our experience, it's helpful to compare the "supplement facts" panels on the various brands.

This supplement is excellent. I used to buy most of these ingredients separately to support my immune system and it was too many pills to take all at once. Finding this product that contains all-in-one has been life-changing. It has been very effective for me and my family. At the very first sign of a cold or any viral infection we take 2 of this daily and most of the times the symptoms disappear or it shortens the severity of it. I only take one a day 4-5 times a week for maintenance and when I feel the slightest symptom of a bug I start with 2 daily until symptoms disappear. Oh, and very effective for cold sores too! I’ve already reordered this supplement several times and had recommended it to family and friends. We love it! Thank you for creating this amazing product.
