The top portion of my bottle was filled with actual 2000 IU capsules however when I got to the middle of the bottle I found these "MINI" ones which for sure are not 2000 IU. I have never seen a bottle of any supplement or prescription with different sizes of pills or capsules. I am going to discard the rest of the bottle as I don't know what they have inside. I have also taken some pix of the MINI capsules which I hope I can upload. This is ridiculous!

One of the ingredients on the label reads "may include corn oil". I am suspicious that any corn that is not organic is genetically modified, and I try very hard not to include GMOs in my diet. It is not easy as corn, soy, and canola seem to be everywhere. I contacted the company twice asking if the corn could possibly be GMO and they didn't answer. So I am assuming that the possibility exists. I don't know about the quality of the rest of the product, but I doubt I'll finish the bottle.

Gives me all the D I need. Maybe a little more than I can handle

I got this originally to see what it would do for my eczema—the answer, nothing. BUT, it DID completely disappear my seasonal affective disorder. I feel happy or content nearly all the time, and stress has not bothered me as much as it usually does. This isn’t placebo because it took me a while to figure out why I felt so good—it didn’t occur to me at first that it was the vitamin. I chose the brand because of the rating on Labdoor. I plan to take 2 of these every day for the rest of my life.

I bought Carlson brand Vitamin D after my Doctor told me I had a vitamin D deficiency (Based on a blood test). I took 2000 iu for 3-4 months with meals as directed. I just had another blood test, and I am about the same. Very little if any change after 3-4 months of Carlson Vitamin D.<br />I DO NOT THINK THIS BRAND WAS ABSORBED INTO MY BODY!<br />I an very disappointed with Carlson as I thought I bought a premium brand.<br />I will try another brand that will hopefully be absorbed and not just pass through my system.<br />I will read some more reviews here on Amazon, and hopefully find a better brand.<br />Don't waste your time and money on Carlson!

I have purchased this brand in the past and had no problem. I opened in about 8 weeks ago and take one about 3 times a week. Opened today and it smelled like garbage, a horrible smell came out of bottle. I had 3 of my co-workers take a sniff and just opening the bottle they wondered what that horrible smell was. This was a horrible experience. I don't think anyone should take the chance and buy this product.
