The second supplement I've tried in recent months from Wholistic Health, after having a good experience with Wholistic Health Wholistic Adrenals. I've mentioned in my prior reviews of D3 supplements that I had discovered this past year that it is likely better to take D3 along with K2, because D3 promotes production of K2-dependent proteins which require K2 in order to function properly (research is ongoing). While I am not personally concerned about lack of calcium intake, some competing products include it because D3 and K2 help ensure that it is properly deposited in bones. To compensate for this lack of K2, I had been consuming separate products, such as Complete K from a Norwegian label called Supersmart, which provides both K1 and K2. The math to determine the appropriate ratio of D3:K2 is simple, but it's convenient to consume both from the same product. Unfortunately, there are better buys than Wholistic Health in this case, and while this product provides the standard 125mcg (5000 IU) per capsule, the D3:K2 ratio isn't standard because only 45mcg of K2 are provided per capsule instead of 100mcg, and I'm not sure what to make of this. While I have an usually strong immune system relative to other people (other people have expressed anger at me that I don't get sick when I'm surrounded by sick people), I know when I feel even a slight tinge of illness that I need to grab the Colostrum, Vitamin D3+K2, and Vitamin C in order to prevent too much negative impact. I also grab this combination of supplements when I feel especially tired due to a string of long work days, because I know I'm more vulnerable to illness. Don't pay attention to physicians who state that megadoses of D3 shouldn't be taken. While you should always know your specific body before taking megadoses, physicians generally don't know what they're talking about because the vast majority of them don't understand supplements, generally depending on pharmaceutical companies to train them to prescribe only patented medications.

I am keeping my D3 and K2 levels up to proper levels for my immune and heart health. I've been taking these Wholistic Health Vitamin D3 K2 Supplement. They are a small white easy to swallow capsule. The serving size is one capsule per day. They are tasteless and don't upset my stomach.<br /><br />Be aware that any Vitamin K can interact with blood thinner medications. If you are taking blood thinners, you should check with your prescribing physician before taking this product. There is a warning on the bottle stating such.<br /><br />Overall, I'm pleased with this D3/K2 supplement.

It is quite convenient to have them both in one capsule. The dose is 1 capsule and the bottle contains 60.<br /><br />My bottle arrived properly sealed and with the expiration date and lot number located on the shoulder of the bottle.<br /><br />My one concern is that this company is not transparent about where the product is made. The label states that the product is manufactured for wholistic health but that does not tell me where the factory is.

I take this every day. It is high quality.
