This is an excellent quality collagen - it blends thoroughly in hot or cold liquid (I've been using it daily, shaken with ice and a fruit smoothie) and there is no discernable flavor or scent. Recommendations regarding collagen dosage varies, but a typical recommendation is anywhere from 1.2grams  - 15 grams, (or 1200mg-15,000 mg) per day for benefits to hair, nails and joints. This supplement contains 3 grams per serving, so it's definitely on the low side, especially at $55 for 30 servings, but the single-serving sachets are very convenient to carry and easy to use. If you're on-the-go, you can empty a serving into a Bottled iced tea or other beverage, shake it up and drink - with no mess or fuss! Because this is collagen only, to get the most benefit (enable your body to absorb it) you should consider taking an amino acid supplement, a multi- mineral supplement and a vitamin C supplement, unless your daily multivitamin contains them. For optimal assimilation, you need amino acids, vitamin C, Zinc and copper. Many complete multivitamins contain all four, but you should check to be sure, otherwise you could be wasting your money on collagen supplements. If you're eating foods sources of those nutrients, even better!<br />I'm not sure what this manufacturer means by "activated collagen  - *** "Vida Glow's Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen Has Been Activated To Boost Absorption (So Your Body Can Actually Use It) + Stimulate Fresh Collagen Production." ***  -   I assume they mean hydrolyzed (or smaller particles) and if that's the case, it could be the reason for the higher than typical cost for collagen alone. (No amino acids, etc., included). Collagen is one of the best supplements you can take for overall health and anti-aging and you will definitely notice the benefits to your hair, skin and nails after 2-3months of daily use. If you have joint problems, such as pain and swelling, collagen can help both the symptoms and the cause by lubricating your joints and promoting tissue regeneration.

Unfortunately I had hoped for some benefit but frankly I noticed absolutely nothing. Save your money and buy a nicer moisturizer!

This has been a terrific way to get my daily supplement of collagen! It absorbs quickly into my system and the benefits are simply fantastic! As a result of these sachets of love, I have enjoyed youthful, healthier looking skin, shinier strains of hair and longer fingernails (a benefit I love).<br /><br />This supplement has been designed to literally get my body to turn on its faucet of collagen production, all from this teal green sachet. First off, nice packaging! I love the box, and the color matches the marine collagen theme Okay, I know that won't matter to everyone, but since they went through the trouble of creating this package for a reason, I feel it's important that I comment on it :)<br /><br />The packets are handy and make it easy to take with you if you're on the go. The collagen mixes us perfectly well and taste pretty neutral - not offending in the least.<br /><br />$55 for this box might be a little higher than other quality collagen I've bought, so maybe not the best deal out there, but a great product, nonetheless.

I have been taking Collagen everyday for a while, which definitely contributed to a better life by improving my skin, hair, and (especially) nails.<br />Normally, I would take collagen powder ( and many other powder type supplements) on my greek yogurt which seems like the most simple way (for me, of course).<br />If I don’t have a chance to take them with yogurts (or smoothies which I hardly make recently), I would resort to pills, especially if I am fasting.<br />Regardless of the forms, I try my best to take collagen everyday.<br />Now, I think the individual sachet is quite a great idea for people who eat meals at work or dining out a lot.<br />I mean I would usually just take pills if I have to go on a trip or eat my meals outside, but this made me able to take the collagen in powder form (which I prefer to pills) even when I am not at home!<br />One thing I am concerned about marine collagen is if it smells fishy in any way.<br />This one tasted nothing and didn’t really have any discernible fishy smell when I mixed it with my yogurt (but my yogurt is also mixed with blueberries, matcha, camu camu and flaxseed, so other things could have been masked a slight taste and smell of the Collagen.)<br /><br />My position regarding Collagen is that you should definitely take them whether it is in the form of powder or pill. Don’t buy them from unknown companies which you cannot find any information about. Then, choose something cost effective for you.<br /><br />I am not going to take this one exclusively but to me ( which will be a bit pricey option to be honest), this one gives me a convenient option to take the collagen when I go on a trip or dining out. In such regard, this is a winner. One thing to add is that the design, packaging, and box make this one quite giftable.
