The probiotic strain used in this supplement is designed to reduce the digestive symptoms of IBS. The bottle states this will happen within 12 weeks. I started finding some relief within three weeks. It is said that a lot of total, overall health begins in the gut, so it makes sense that providing the gut with a strain that it requires for optimal function would assist in alleviating symptoms of IBS. I plan to continue using this, plus I also definitely recommend it.
