This review is based on the condition of the bottle it arrived in. The Amazon box was not damaged. However, you can see the condition that this was in.<br /><br />I do not know what would have caused this. I speculated that it may have been heat but if I am not incorrect, my guess would mean that heat would cause the bottle to swell? Upon further examination, the container does not have any punctures or or holes. It was still sealed.<br /><br />As for how the tablets are, they are small capsules and can be swallowed relatively easily. I have big hands so I also supplied a picture of one capsule with one of Kirkland's Chewable Vitamin C 500 mg for comparison.
