Did what I needed to do. Me and my daughter made it to strip your hair color and this works great. I have locs and she's loose natural. We just mix the vitamin C with shampoo. It is a bit messy so make sure you do it where you could sweep or vacuum.

A+. My family had been getting sick regularly, so I started them on a Vitamin C protocol. This involves giving a dose of Vit C every 15 mins until bowel tolerance. I needed ascorbic acid/vit c in powder form for best absorption. This worked WONDERS. It cut our colds in half and boosted our immune systems.<br /><br />Yes, it is sour. For adults, mix in a bit of juice and take it as a shot. My 2 yr old takes it mixed in honey. Honestly at her age she likes sour, so she will take a 1/8 tsp and lick it as a treat.

Quite tart! But effective and will last a long time. Does not dissolve in water at all, no matter how much stirring, But if you’re OK with just putting the fourth a teaspoon directly in your mouth and then following up with water or juice that works too.

I mix it with my lotion and toner. Once you find the right formulation for your skin, it works great.

No calories in this mix. Good absorption, and it takes like it's real -without sugar added.<br /><br />I'm into fitness, so this product is quite nice and tastes 'organic'.<br /><br />I plan to buy this product again when I'm out. One bag should last me a month or two without going bad. :)

So, I used this for stripping hair... and it worked! This was the summer of hair experiments since I had nothing better to do in quarantine here in California and saw that Vitamin C powder naturally strips color from hair (with a clarifying shampoo). I tried it (made a paste, put it all over my hair, used a shower cap, and left it on for about an hour) and it helped to get a teal blue/green color out of my hair. This allowed me to strip it without having to use bleach more than I wanted to. Overall, I'm pleased with the price for what I got and what I needed it for.
