Made me a shake person
I always hated shakes for breakfast. Other shakes sat wrong in my belly and left me feeling overfill until suddenly I was ravenous. They never felt like a real breakfast. This stuff, however, has won me over, and now I feel let down if I forget it and have to eat eggs and bacon. :)

BUT, it’s not without a kind of significant down side.

Pros:
-I like the flavor
-very satiating
-very easy on my gut, has improved occasional gastritis quite a bit
-no dairy (definitely NOT vegetarian)
-no pea protein/other grains/legumes (heavy metals)
-“safest” non-dairy meal replacement I would consider for ttc, pregnancy or lactation.

Cons
-not organic
-not even “free range”
-contains caffeine

Verdict: I use it reluctantly. I would be much happier if they could source their bones better. I’m also annoyed at their website, which weasels around the question of whether their bones are from free range animals — I’m left to assume that not only are they not, but the manufacturer thinks I’m too dumb to read the whole paragraph and interpret it properly. However, I’ve been eating organic and free range bone broths made at home for quite a while and have a very sensitive gut (thanks for all that baby food at six weeks, mom :-)). This stuff doesn’t hurt me, so it must be pretty decent. As long as I don’t meditate on the rage their website inspires...
