BEWARE!!! THERE's A SILICA PACKET INSIDE!!!

I very rarely write reviews, just don't have the time. But after trying this today for the first time, I was just plain DISGUSTED with the utter IGNORANCE and IRRESPONSIBILITY of some companies. In ULTRA FINE PRINT on the back of the package it states, "Do not eat the desiccant or absorber." WHO would think to look for a SILICA packet in a protein powder!!!!!????? OBVIOUSLY NOT all these people who gave it a ONE star review, who ALL had the same experience as I did the first time, but didn't realize it wasn't the powder they were crunching on!!!! Do you think they would have had someone from the company chime in and apologize and explain WHY some people felt there was SAND in the powder??? They went to great lengths to list how healthy their product is, GF, Vegan, Kosher, Organic, Made in the USA. Seriously???!!! I pulled the paper out of my shake and strained the rest through a tea strainer to see exactly what it was, I thought at first it was GLASS!! I guess the packet is so small, it is hidden when you use the enclosed scooper to scoop out the powder. I obviously wasn't the only one who has missed it!!!! Being a single mom of 3, I'm hanging by a thread trying desperately to give myself a little something each day to keep me going. Distraction is abundant in this house and I don't have time to babysit ANYONE else! I have been using a Hemp based protein powder for a long time and recently bought a vegan powder for my son, NEITHER of these had the audacity to put something like that in a food in which it could be EASILY missed. Shameful!

Low-carb flour- great for crackers, pizza crusts, soft tortillas, pita breads, biscuits..

I've used 2 different organic pumpkin seed flours on Amazon.. this one and one other..
Differences I noticed is: the other brand said it was a 'product of China' while this brand said they are made from pumpkin seeds 'native to Central America' .. also this brand said that they use an 'age-old cold-pressing process' to naturally remove some of the seeds oil thus concentrating the protein.. the other brand didn't mention doing that. There is a difference price wise also with this one costing more than the other when u compare the amount you receive for the price.

We bought this for my husband who has been doing a low-carb keto diet ... this pumpkin seed flour has very low carbs (when u subtract the fiber)!! So we have used this to make crackers, pizza crusts, soft tortillas, pita breads and biscuits!! .. He loves it and can eat and not feel like he's missing out .. I will share our cracker recipe for anyone who wants to try it. We've also used other low carb flour (like almond and peanut) but now that we've found pumpkin seed flour which is very low carbs he prefers it.. I do wish it cost less..

My Italian cracker recipe:
1/2 cup pumpkin seed flour
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oregano seasoning
1/4 tsp sea salt or to desired taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 'chia eggs'*

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350'.. Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly... I use a fork to make sure its pressed and mixed well.. then add olive oil and mix thoroughly until it looks crumbly. Next add the 'chia egg' mixing well.. it maybe slightly wet & sticky but that's ok. Put the doughty ball on parchment paper and add another sheet of parchment paper on top.. press down and then roll it out to your desired cracker thickness. Then cut into squares and possibly sprinkle a touch more sea salt if you like more salt. Bake 15-20 minutes or until crispy.. oven temps vary so check around 15 minutes to make sure not burning. Enjoy!! ;)

*chia egg- Mix 1 tbsp of ground chia seeds with 3 tablespoons of water. Since this recipe calls for 2 chia eggs u would mix 2 tbsp of ground chia seeds with 6 tbsp of water.

**also on a side note I've read online that pumpkin seeds are known to remove intestinal worms ...

I shared a pic of the low carb crackers & cheese biscuits that I make with this flour .. I will try to add my cheese biscuits recipe soon! :)

Plant protein for the win

My son isn’t a fan of meat at all. It’s fine with me because we don’t eat much of it ourselves. We find protein in other sources. I wanted to add some extra protein into our diet and found pumpkin seed is an excellent source.

After looking up several options I found this powder. I’m one of those people that searched through all the reviews to get all the info on products. This one seemed to have such positive reviews I figured I wouldn’t go wrong ordering. The good reviews are accurate.

The powder adds well in drinks and meals. I try to blend it in so we don’t even notice the powder. So far so good. We have been using this powder for three months now with no issues. I’m a loyal customer now and felt it was only appropriate to add my good review as well.

Good for those with food sensitivities

This is one of the few protein powders that don't mess with my bowels. I can't tolerate the pea or rice protein powders that I have tried so far. You will want to add stevia and cinnamon and allspice to it if you want it to taste good.

EXCELLENT QUALITY PROTEIN POWDER WITH NOTHING BUT PUMPKIN SEED PROTEIN POWDER!

EXCELLENT QUALITY PROTEIN POWDER WITH NOTHING BUT PUMPKIN SEED PROTEIN POWDER! BEST WAY TO MAKE IT TASTE GOOD IT TO USE A BLENDER & MIX IT WITH COCONUT WATER, TEASPOON OF COCONUT MILK OR COCONUT CREAM, CINNAMON, TEASPOON OF CANNED PUMPKIN & A COUPLE OF ICE CUBES! IT TASTES LIKE PUMPKIN PIE! IT'S EXPENSIVE BUT YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT & IF YOU WANT TO FEEL GOOD YOU MUST INGEST HIGH QUALITY PROTEIN POWDER! THIS IS THE ONLY PROTEIN POWDER THAT DOESN'T BLOAT MY STOMACHE! FIVE STARS FOR EVERYTHING, EXPENSIVE THAT'S WHY IT'S 4 STARS...WISH THEY WOULD LOWER THEIR PRICES TO MAKE IT MORE AFFORABLE TO MORE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY NOW WITH PEOPLE BEING OUT OF WORK FOR MONTHS.

JUST GET YOU SOME!

STOP.READ.CLICK ADD TO CART. This protein powder is crazy delish! NO gritty texture, NO weird clumping in cold liquids, NO trash stevia or other unnecessary crap that other protein powder brand put into their product. I am one of the pickiest individuals on the planet, and this protein powder is legit. I also hate writing review, but someone needs to know and have some of this goodness all up in their mouth, ok?
