I can't say enough about this drink-- I love the taste of it; it tastes chocolate maltish without an artificially sweet aftertaste. The formula was changed a few years ago and I didn't know it when I bought 4 cans; it tasted so horrible, I threw every one of them in the trash! This time, thought I'd try one more time since I saw it's back to soy protein without artificial sweeteners. Score!! It tastes just like it used to! The only negative (nothing new) I can think of is that it gets a bit thick if it sits too long, but some people prefer it that way.<br />I hope Spiru-tein never changes its formula again!

I have a spiru-tein shake every morning for breakfast. The chocolate flavor is amazing mixed with banana & coconut! I thought I would get tired of the flavor after awhile, but NOPE. Such a great alternative to all those protein drinks with dairy and gluten.

If you bought this a few years ago and loved it, you're in for a RUDE surprise when you drink this new (unmarked) reformulation. It tastes nothing like it did before. Watery, with a weird aftertaste. I bought two by mistake and threw them ($70) out they were so bad.<br />Update: I went to the Nature's Plus website and complained. They claimed that it was the vanilla causing the off taste and send me replacement containers and samples with a nice letter....<br />My wife thinks it's better. For me it's still off and not as thick so I won't be buying again...

I can not use this full of soy, isolated soy protein and pea powder . THese make me sick aND IT IS my fault , I thought this was the chocolate version of Spiru-tein PURETRITION which only has rice protein.

I love this! I use it with hemp seeds, chia seeds and Peanut Butter powder in a mixture of coconut milk and water with eyes(sometimes I might add frozen bananas) blend it in my nutribullet. Delicious. I like the flavors, chocolate, vanilla and banana. Will surely order more.

I've been reading the reviews and it seems as though it's just the chocolate flavored one that has the awful taste. I just bought one from vitamin Shoppe and it's just as good as I remember(must be from the old shipment)
