No natural flavors!

These vitamin C gummies are one of the only ones I could find that don't have "natural flavors", which are a migraine trigger for some of us unlucky ones. While they do have some organic cane sugar, it's not an excessive amount nor is it a super processed type. A good reward for taking your other meds/supplements that aren't available in gummies.

Taste so good you want to eat them all right away, but price is outrageous 2/5

I got fed up, no pun intended, with trying to swallow a huge 1000mg tablet of Vitamin C every day and not knowing if I was going to choke to death or breathe on into my lung, so I decided to look for alternatives.

First one was these, chewable gummies. The best thing I can say about them is that they taste very good - like candy. That's a problem, you end up wanting to eat them all at once they are so tasty.

But the darker side to these is the outrageously high cost. The first one I got in Whole Foods was $12.00, but now a few weeks later they are at $18.00. Wow. They are less if you order them from Amazon which is the best option. I bought the three pack.

The other thing that I wish they would not do is to allow manufacturers to do things like here where they say 70 count, but in small print 35 servings. What is a serving when it comes to vitamins, that is poor terminalogy. The bottom line of that is that TWO GUMMIES only provide 90 milligrams of Vitamin C. That is really not a lot of Vitamin C.

Meaning that 1 gummy only has 45 milligrams of Vitamin C.

To get my 1000 mg, or 1 gram of Vitamin C that I usually want I would have to eat 11 servings, or 22 gummies, which means 1 bottle would last less than 4 days. It would also carry a whooping 300+ calories.

That's ridiculous. This is not a serious nutritional product, at least for me.

I have to rate this at best 2/5.

Great Taste

These gummies are tasty. They do not have a tangy taste like it’s competition. They are chewy and if you have crowns or bridges you may want to be careful.
