I've been taking collagen in my cuppa tea for a decade. My go to brand is by Great Lakes in the green canister. The Cornucopia Institute did a test for heavy metals in collagen & all but two brands rated high (you can look it up for more info. it's always good to do your own research rather than blindly trust a review, LOL). I have seen such great results from taking collagen, that I don't plan to stop even knowing about the heavy metals. I also don't plan on not consuming organic cocoa or chocolate due to the heavy metals.<br /><br />Anyway, this collagen works exactly as expected. I hate the plastic container, but aside from that, it's fine. Flavorless, dissolves fine. I will even add it to hot cocoa, any hot beverage really. I use a hand held whisk/frother. It always turns out great.<br /><br />The results I've enjoyed thanks to collagen are most noticeable to me in my hair. My hair is very long (past my bra) & straight. I get it cut once a year. I have hardly any splits. I am always complimented on my hair, told how beautiful it is. I see people stare at it. It's amazing. I'm middle aged! When I was half my age, my hair was constantly splitting & never beautiful. When I started eating better & organic, I did notice a big improvement, but the biggest & best improvement was once I started taking a little collagen powder in my hot cuppas every day.<br /><br />Overall, I highly recommend collagen, this brand, or whatever brand you like - it works.

It is difficult to review supplements since you need to consistently use them weeks/months to really see any changes.<br /><br />I use this supplement in smoothies I make in the morning. It doesn't matter what smoothie as there is no taste to the powder and so it is easy to add to anything. The powder dissolves and doesn't leave a gritty texture like some others can. The finish is smooth in texture.<br /><br />I think it have made my skin better, but it is hard to say if this has helped my hair or nails. Overall is seems to be working correctly. It is a little bit more money per ounce than some others I have used in the past. But it appears to be a little higher quality in taste and dissolution into a solution so that might be worth the extra cost to you.

I'm not noticing the hydration of my skin that I usually observe within a few days with some really good brands. However, the pain and cramping, join issues are better. I am feeling good and in part, I take this type of supplement to prevent migraines, and neck and shoulder cramping. I don't know if cramping is the right word, but I feel extreme fatigue and discomfort when I do not take some sort of good quality collagen. I like using the powder in smoothies. I recently gave up coffee, so the bullet coffee is not more for me. I have been mixing it into kefir with some other things, that is a good super food for the morning. I like smoothies as well. With this product, I do not taste or smell anything unusual when I use it in smoothies or coffee, or kefir. It's possible drinking it in warm water wouldn't be tasty, however. Better to mix with flavors.<br /><br />The value; this is expensive. Prices are going up for collagen, and based on my experience so far, this is good, but it's not as good as some of the brands in this price range.

This is a fine collagen peptide powder, grass fed, non GMO, all the amino acids you require and made in the USA. It blends well with my cold smoothie in the morning , but there is some normal clumping in cold drinks. It’s great in coffee too. It’s tasteless and odorless. The little scoop was on the bottom, and I had to work it up with a knife to retrieve it, so if you can’t find it, dig deep. I really notice a remarkable difference in my toenails from collagen, having done a lot of running for exercise, my toenails were looking rough 😂😂 Now they look as normal as ever. My only negative, besides all the plastic these products add to the environment, is that there are similar quality brands that offer a lot more product in the container than this one . No complaints, but shop around for your best deal too.

I tried this three times and three times I felt nauseated. Also something about the taste was vile. Not a word I use lightly.
